Did not receive Amazon Prime package

UPS says it was delivered, but I don't have it. Amazon tells me to contact UPS, UPS tells me to contact Amazon.

Fastest way to get this resolved?

I would probably call back to Amazon, ask to speak to a supervisor, and tell them you are canceling your prime membership and will be contacting your bank to chargeback the item.

Its Amazons problem since they are the sender (and customer of UPS).

After Amazon files a claim though UPS will probably have you sign for every package from now on.

I wouldn't threaten to cancel your membership or a chargeback....yet. I would try to get a supervisor on the phone and just explain the situation and ask him what to do. Tell him that you've already contacted UPS and they tell you to contact Amazon. Remind him that you're a Prime Member and that you should not have to be dealing with all this drama. See if he steps up to the plate and resends the item for you.

I'm a Prime Member as well and have had several small issues in the past that were resolved very quickly I think because I'm a prime member and I didn't need to resort to threatening them with chargebacks etc.

Good luck -

I had this happen too a couple years back, saying it was delivered when it wasn't. Complained to Amazon and got a new package sent out via next day shipping. UPS in my area is completely incompetent.

doesn't ups have insurance? You probably need to file a clam with them. But I would think amazon would reship it to you. when I order amazon prime it comes next day USPS guess every city is different.

ive had this happen 3 times
each time i got on the live chat with amazon and they have always just sent the package again next day air

value of one package was only 20
second was around 50ish
third was 200ish

some good suggestions already.

i would just add that i would also address with a team leader the 1st cs agent passing this off to ups, that's not how amazon cs wants their cs to work.

Actually I read it on their website. Then I went ahead and contacted anyway after reading this thread and they told me to see if it comes today. If not, they will send out again.

i was gonna do a *i received a miss-shipped amazon package full of <i have no idea>* thread but had no ideas. i figured a box full of gay stuff would backfire here at gfy.

He is not the one doing business with UPS, Amazon is.

srockhard 10-24-2013 12:54 PM

Just wait it out. Amazon is good ppl and not trying to fuck you over. Prime is probably the best value for any service offered on the internet.

troncarver 10-24-2013 01:13 PM

i just tell them to look at my order history and they comply with my requests

kane 10-24-2013 01:27 PM

Have you contacted UPS? Maybe they accidentally delivered it to the wrong address. My brother ordered something last Christmas and when his address was incorrectly written on the box from Amazon UPS looked him up in their system and delivered it to the address they had for him. Unfortunately, that address was a place he hadn't lived in about 5 years.

Step 1. Contact UPS and find out what they have to say. If they are no help then
Step 2. Contact Amazon. If the give you shit do as others have suggested and threaten go cancel/chargeback.

I've had this happen before, actually twice.

Call Amazon support and tell them you didn't receive a package that they claim was delivered. DONT deal with UPS, it's a waste of time.

Amazon will call UPS to verify, however Amazon has INSURANCE to cover these instances, so they will most likely replace it for you at no cost, unless it was above $100 or $250, I forgot the amount.

Just recently I ordered a few things and got the email "package delivered" yet, NOTHING there :mad::mad:

Then a few hours later, door bell rings and its UPS. I think UPS has some "intelligent" software that can estimate when a package is delivered. Think about it, each time someone drops off a package to scan and confirm, that takes time. If they only have to do it once every 5, they can estimate when the rest will be delivered based upon time, conditions, etc.

Just call back and say "It's cause I'm black right?" You will not only receive your original package but an additional package that contains an obamacare health plan and a obamaphone free of charge, have luck :thumbsup
