I have a Sony Trv-30

It was $1200 2 years ago, but I'm sure they came out with better now.

But Mine works great for what I need it for.

SONY 717 can't be beat for that price range.

Damn pipe, I owe you one bro. With a deal like this, I can buy a camcorder and still have $1000 left over for marijuana. heh

nothing too good in that range really, but if you wanna spring for more $, you're WAY better off with a GL2 or VX2000... we use them both and have zero complaints... you'll never need a digital cam either since the screen caps from these are awesome!

personally i prefer to handle the GL2, but the feeling is the VX2000 is better... *shrug*
