I had no choice but to get a new one. My last one broke - with me on it. I happen to have a beer in my hand at the time it came apart. I got beer all over the place, including my keyboard. My ESC key doesn't even move now. It's almost like it's superglued in place.

nice chair. you might want to hit the gym if your having chairs break while your in them though.

hehe - no I'm not fat. My girlfriend likes sitting in my lap sometimes to read this board and the weight of both of us just fucked up the chair.

I have the exact same chair and the exact same keyboard and mouse, lol.

Save up for an Aeron, it's worth it.

Tho one of my buddies has that fucking Frankenstein chair Bill Maher has on HBO now...and he likes it.

Aerons kick ass, dunno what that guy is talking about. I went through 5 chairs ranging in price from $75 to $900 before the Aeron, and I'll never buy a different one again. It's comfortable as hell and my back has stopped hurting (been using it for about a year now).
