An interesting point was made in another thread that if an election was held today with Clinton and Bush running against each other Cilnton would win. I'm curious now so thought a poll may prove a point at least as far as this board goes. Which out of those two would you choose....

I want Clinton as president again, just so he can have another intern suck him off. It was a great eight years.

All Clinton had goin' for him was charisma...other than that he was a really shitty president.

Just like I said about polls - a lot of things can make a difference in the results.

it's being taken from a group who is 80% democratic.

I always thought too much was made of the lying to congress thing. The main point was that he was unfaithful and never should have done something so daft in his position. The lying after that just shows that he was a normal guy who of course is gonna bullshit and deny being unfaithful no matter what position he holds. Any guy is going to try to get out of accusations that he sleeps around if he can.

What more do you need from a leader?

He should have resigned. Hell, Trent Lott gave up his top spot for an off color remark, no law broken or anything.

The point was that lied under oath...the Prsident of the USA lied under oath. Who cares if he got a blowjob, but lying under oath just shows how much he can be trusted...

Again of course he did. He was a guy trying to deny adultery. The penis tends to shut the brain out in a case like that and no guy whether president or not is going to stand up and say he's been shagging behind his wife's back if he can get away with it. In my book that's always just made him human. What I always found more worrying was the fact that he was stupid enough to do something like that in the first place given that he was president.

Ok he shouldn't have lied under oath but given the circumstances I think he just did what 99% of men would do. Again what is worrying is that he was daft enough to get in that position.
