Adultplex, used to be EZ-Green, have not only scammed me out of money but they tried to scam me out of even more. I do have all proof in the form of saved e-mails for anyone who wants to verfiy this is true.

So heres the story ?

I used to promote Adultplex remote sign up boxes and Pay Sites and was paid for my first pay period. A month after the second pay period passed I had not received a check so I e-mailed asking about my money. I had e-mailed several times before and always received very quick and helpful support, however, this time after sending several e-mails I never received a responce about my payment.

So naturally I said, "Fuck it," and I got rid of them and all of their materials on my sites.

NOT END OF STORY!!!

A few months later I received an e-mail from Bryan Streitfeld ICQ 165029472 e-mail [email protected] (feel free to bomb his ICQ and e-mail accounts) .

This e-mail stated that I had not promoted them in a while and asked for me to come back and begin promoting them again. So I sent a reply that I was no longer promoting them because I was screwed out of a payment and no body would respond to my messages about it.

Of course I received a very fast reply telling me all problems taken care of and that I would see that money the 1st week of February and I could continute to promote their program.

Not even close. First of all I told him ok after I receive my check I will start again but not until then. Smart move, because of course no check ever came.

So I waited till the end of the month and sent him an e-mail asking where is my money. I got a responce that they did not have a W-9 on file for me but if I would fill one out and fax it in they would be happy to pay me.

Here are my problems with this...

1. I have never had to fill out and fax a W-9 to any sponsor EVER!!!!
2. I have been paid by Adultplex before without a W-9!!!!
3. Why didn't he tell me this 2 months ago when he agreed to pay me?!?!?!
4. Now that I have sent e-mails and ICQ messages debateing the issue he suddenly no longer responds to anything, surprise, surprise.
5. I do not have a Fax machine or access to one and I am not going to waste my money at Staples or Kinkos for what is clearly just an excuse to not pay me.
6. On top of that having to give all of my personal information to a company that obviously cannot be trusted.

DO NOT TRUST THIS SPONSOR!!!!

And bomb the fuck out of them demanding that they pay me and everyone else they fucked over. It is time that webmasters finally do something to fight back against behavior like this, lets put these types of sponsors in their places.

Yes, if Adult Plex is the former EZ Green, they ARE crooks.

They did a similar thing to me many months ago. They were not paying, so I emailed them. They said if I continued to send them traffic they would slowly get caught up.

I think EZ Green asked me for a W-9 back in like 2000. Do we even have those in Canada?

Sucks about them not paying you, how much money is it for? I'm not to sure about the laws in the USA, but if it's over a certain amount you might have to fax them a w-9.

There was no issue or mention of a W-9 in my dealings with them... just another excuse they found.

E-Green always paid me. Last year (or the year before?) they sent me a cheesecake.

I've used adultplex and I like them! They have always paid me, one time...I was told they would hold my payment till I sent a
w-9 as soon as I sent it, I got paid.

For Christmas they even sent a cheesecake!

In my case, my problem was when they were operating as EZ Green. A few months after the issue, they closed up shop.

I'm glad you have been paid and I hope you don't get fucked over in the future if they decide to pull up tent again and come back under another name.

They pay us like clockwork.

If you plan on making more than $600 with a sponsor, you'd better plan on sending them a W-9.
Or giving them your social security # - same deal, with all the other info they collect on you during signup, that's all they need to fill out the 1099.

I'm ok because i'm from canada.

This guy (DeadGuy13) got mad because I asked for a W-9 (which is required by the IRS) Believe me, if it were up to me, I wouldn't want the damn paperwork :)

Anyway, he got mad at the W-9 request because in his ICQ details it said he was 16 so he probably knew he couldn't send in the W-9 because we'd find out he was underage and he'd be terminated so he decided he'd save faced and drag my companies name through the mud instead.

All the signs are there. I mean, who the hell tells people to mail/ICQ bomb somebody on a chat board where they're registered.

AdultPlex has always paid me in full and on time.

w-9 is federal law, get over it.:thumbsup

Just an update on the situation. Adultplex and Dead13 are working out our differences and all hard feelings should be forgotten within a matter of days (and $50)

EZGreen was owned by the same people a long time ago. But EzGreen the EZ Green affiliate program was sold a long long long time ago. I've heard there've been tons of issues with it since we sold it, but I've never verified any of that. All of my dealings have been since Adultplex has been around.

ADULTPLEX was spamming me sooo fucking much.. I had to email them to stop. They was sending me 3 emails a day promoting some vigra shit, casinos and phone services..

EZ Green didn't pay me. I was owed a few thousand dollar's, and they did an agreement with me paying that ammount in 10 months I think.

I got two payments regarding that agreement we have done, and after that I never heard nothing from them.

I use Adultplex and I like the way they opperate and their support is great.

You guys at Adultplex and/or your accountants are morons.

W9's are only required of US entities (citizens or corporations).

Foreign entities are required to file a form W8.

You must have hired the same people that other sponsors use when they sent 1099 forms made out to A) a US corporation (US corporations are not supposed to be issued 1099 forms) and B) for an amount under $600 (the minimum amount reportable on a 1099 form is $600). :1orglaugh

Howard at Adultplex sends the rudest e-mails I've ever had from anyone in this industry. Arrogant asshole.

I don't want to get into the middle of this, but I just want to say that Howard is a nice guy. I have spoke with him on the phone, etc, and he is always nice. He does send "Short" emails, which can come off as very rude, but I don't think he is intending to come off as rude.

Just wanted to say the guys over at adult plex have always been kind to me and have always paid on time, etc..

One thing that I wonder about is why do you need the W2 info ??? I use MANY sponsors and never had that problem before. Why can't it just be reported as 1099 Miscellaneous income rather than going through the hassles of W2 ???
