So I was reading the newspaper and apparently google has an mcap of about 100B less than apple? The writer said google "pales in comparison". I got news for you, buddy, google grows like a wild family of drug addicted hookers. How old is apple? How old is google?

If google already is at 3/4 of what apple is, apple will never stay ahead of them. Never. Plus, apple just completely fucking sucks, period. So fuck apple.

I hate Apple as well, BUT, Apple produces real hardware using real factories and machines. Google only does virtual stuff without any "real world" value beside its know how.

I've used apple products since 1996. I have used windows based machines as well. I love apple. Must be my creative side. Since Steve Jobs died apple has gone downhill a bit. I believe that's temporary. Bring back the Woz!

Apple does make solid stable computers and they do have a very nice space age look to them, and sure they have a huge following for their phones, but it cannot last forever

How can you compare the two? The only phone that Google "makes" is the Nexus, which I believe is actually a Samsung product.

I've found there are two types of people that hate Apple products, but for me, I love them. Simple and easy to use.

First are the "I'm to cool" folks who think because you can't RDC to your home computer from your phone, the item is junk.

The others, are the "I can't afford it" crowd (probably the OP :2 cents:) who bitch about their products, merely to justify to themselves why they don't need to have it in the first place and completely content with their Boost mobile prepaid phone from Walmart

Apple users, at least from the ones I know, never have a problem with non-Apple users as I still believe, we are a more intelligent crowd and know there are other products and services available in the market to meet other peoples needs.

I wouldn't say "Apple Sucks". They have been leading the way with innovation with their products for some time now. The catch is now it's a lot easier for other companies to catch up to them.

You don't really understand Google's business model. Google takes a chunk of virtually EVERY business on the internet. If you want to sell widgets, Google can take up to 30-40% of your gross income when buying Adwords. They often make more than you do. It's no less real than the classifieds section of a newspaper except more profitable and covering the world.

Saying the G1 and G2 are HTC products and the Nexus is someone else's product is like saying the iPhone isn't a Foxconn product.

They license their intellectual property to others who make it for them. If they made their own hardware they'd be the same old Apple they always were and their shit would suck.

Apple Product makes customers so unique and they make apps company profitable , unlike google play sales , not much bigger that Apple , maybe because lot's of free Apps on google play!

Insult me again you stupid cocksucker, I'm crushed. If I wanted an apple, I would have an apple. I have the computer I want to have. My desktop is over here with 16gb of ram and an SSD and if I wanted it to have any more of anything or to be a mac, it would have it or be one.

Also, fuck boost mobile, my telephone uses the verizon network and works everywhere. Half of the time it works even where smartphones can't find any kind of signal. Wiseguy. If I wanted a computer phone, I would have one of those, too. I have my old style telephone because I like it and it works and does what the fuck I want for it to do.

Since you failed to ask, I dislike apple because Steve Jobs was all for censorship and telling people what they're allowed to see- and because they never wanted their machines to be friendly or play nice with anything else- and everyone was always saying how difficult they are to upgrade- not to mention how bad customer service is- and 1000 other reasons.

I don't dislike a Bentley simply because I cannot afford one. They're well built and gorgeous and I fucking want one. I don't hate an apple simple because of the price, genius. They sure the hell are overpriced, though, now aren't they?

Apple has had not one but several unique products. They have changed the world. Google made a better Search Engine. Copied some other shit and didn't do so well. But yeah, otherwise they are pretty close.

Google is going to be the largest company in the world within ten years, if you ask me, while apple will be gone. The impact on the world of Apple has been huge. Google not so much. Xom is huge but I hardly get all excited when I think of their business model.

MSFT makes half of their cash on xbox now. Not sure if you are a gamer but they own that area.

AAPL will be gone. I predicted this a year ago on this board. They lost the guy.

GOOG has had a really hard time finding a second home run. The Android platform has not been profitable as of the last time I looked. Add in all of the other stuff they have tried and failed... I am not sure they have management skills to be the next anything.

I have no idea of anything when it comes to a video game. I like to play 8 bit mario brothers, but it has been awhile. Galaga is another good one :) I had no idea that xcube was 50% of msft's bottom line.. wow... that's crazy. Gamers are pretty stupid though and they'll forget about xcube within a few years.. gamers have the intelligence and attention span of a small flea or tick(literally).. I guess maybe msft could fall even sooner than I thought!!

Google I think will grow and grow.. if they don't have the management they need, I believe they'll get it. It is an intelligent and open minded and quick thinking company.

Google rakes in more money because of adwords while apple via hardware and tied up osx's. Google dominates and nobody is catching up. Unlike, in the apple industry Samsung, Sony and other brands are introducing more models than they do.

Good point, google makes a damned fortune just on intangibles. Clicks. Some moron clicks a thing and BLAM google makes more than many of us make on a physical item- sometimes in multiples of that.

Manage some servers and have some bandwidth and make a fortune. All of that happens without anything being shipped, without any returns and without much customer service being necessary. Have to answer questions for some of the dumber advertisers, big deal.
