People are never satisfied, and driven by god knows what

More more more. Extreme extreme extreme.

Relax relax relax.

I am happy enough if I have decent food to eat, female flesh to enjoy and freedom to walk around not jailed. Basic human needs. You don't need the newest automobile or the biggest house. Relax.

Shit, when I had money, I just relaxed all peaceful. I didn't have to chase the bigger and better. Had my decent little house, had good food, a television set.. what else do you need?

Right now I am happy enough just to have the opportunity to go out and hustle. Sure, it is little shit, and I scrape by half of the time.. but I think I live better than a lot of wealthy people with a needle up their intestine.

If and when I manage to ever have figures again, fuck, I have learned that all I need is peace. Let me eat well and have a submissive female to enjoy (and enjoy pleasing) and leave me the hell alone.

Nothing like a good slave/sub around the house.

DerKramer 10-20-2013 09:53 AM

yeah, it's the basics men, the bigger and better just leads to nothing, cause there seems to be no limit.....you might run after a phantom.....

Am I missing something and no poor people are miserable? Why even mention some wealthy people are miserable? Dumbest fucking thing ever, and soooo many people do it..

SilentKnight 10-20-2013 10:23 AM

It should go without saying - everyone defines their own standards of comfort.

I never denigrate someone whose standards differ from mine. What's the point?

Just recently my boss passed away from cancer - he was 72. He worked right up until his final days. Many people constantly said, "Why the hell is he still working at his age? He should retire, take life easy...enjoy the time with his wife and grandkids."

Having worked with the guy for almost a decade - I knew the answer.

He needed to feel vital. It energized him...gave him purpose. He wasn't the type of person who was satisfied to wither away in a rocking chair on the porch. He thrived on getting up early and working a full eight hour day.

It kept him going.

Some people are just wired that way. I respected and admired that a great deal.

I can relax on most things and be happy with what I have,

but I gotta have my $8 a pound bacon. Hell will freeze over before I give that up.

What is the big deal about bacon? I can't eat more than a pound of it or I get sick and it makes me spit grease everywhere all day.. even though I wring bacon out in a mass of paper towels before I will eat it.

fuzebox 10-24-2013 01:00 PM

Clearly you don't get it.

mikesinner 10-24-2013 01:46 PM

It's fine to be satisfied with nothing until death is knocking at your door and everyone else is forced to pay to save your life. For me I'd at least like to pay for a portion of my medical expenses.

There are two major motivations for man, not to die and not to die poor.

MrMaxwell 10-25-2013 07:20 AM

I have a DNR and I don't go to the doctor.. ever.

People chasing bigger and better are like crack addicts chasing their next fix.

Now I have money because I am part of a generation that had it easy and I have been involved in the sex/porn industry more than 40 years. Certainly I have a few toys and a nice house but I know that I do not have many days left to live.

So what is the point of the junk I have?
To share and enjoy it with those that I care about.

tripplexwebcams 10-25-2013 11:26 AM

Well said, its nice to have the needs in life taken care of anything else is just a blessing or benefit.

garce 10-25-2013 01:28 PM

I want nothing - which includes everything I own. None of it matters to me, nor is worth anything. And I will be proving that very shortly.

Cabasagan. An open house. Ricefield. Coconuts, Durian, and Bananas. Butterfish, Tilapia, and Carpa. I sold most of my domains and purchased a nice chunk of paradise. Frequent power outages, insane heat and humidity, and shitty internet and even worse cell phone coverage. I am cool with that.

I just have to clear up my mother's "estate", find somewhere for my mentally disabled sister to live (I have been caring for her since 2005 but her disability is progressing beyond what I can help her with. Unfortunately my sister is a prisoner in Canada.) I am gone from this joke of a country.

Yeah, it is JUST like that.
I couldn't agree more with the rest of your post.
Live comfortably and relax. No chasing

Avoid family like a plague. Helping them always is a huge mistake and no good deed goes unpunished. They will hate you for it.

That's real talk if you're poor and white and have a proclivity to tasting alcohol somewhat too often :disgust

No, never being able to ever have enough because you're broken and hopeless inside, that is what would suck. I was that way, once. Never again.

My most happy moment is when I traveled the famous "hippie trail".

I had no money, no passport and no idea how I was going to traverse so many borders. It was the most beautiful time of my life.
