News Anchor Loses It Completely (for good reason)

Didn't he quit television about two years ago to help disable veterans or something?

The guy is 100% right.

He's absolutely correct. Both houses of government are largely paid for by special interests. If you're an elected official, your finances should be under scrutiny -- and anything other than your basic salary should warrant a loss of your seat and/or arrest. John Boehner played these games the last 3 weeks because he wants to keep that speakership so badly.
Why would he cut off his left nut to keep it, when it seems like so much trouble? Because he makes a shit ton of money from it. We have to find a way to take financial incentive out of holding political office. People should be there because they want to do some good, not to set themselves up for life. And there should be a cap on campaign donation. Rich bastards on both sides are gaming the system to the detriment of everyone below them. |
Voters should impose term limits with their votes. If someone is marked as incumbent, pick another one. Every. Time. Lobbyists will eventually line up to throw themselves off high buildings.

I find it really annoying when people shout out rants like that. :2 cents:

Nice to see someone being honest and unique for ones, the rest of the yay sayers are just worthless sheeps and base their lifes on being so political correct as possible.
More individuals like that and we can start cleaning out the bad |

That's why I say vote out all incumbents. Every time, in every election, regardless of party. 2 or 4 years is long enough for everything but becoming entrenched and hopelessly compromised by lobbyists. Party doesn't matter. Just never re-elect anyone, period. Best politician ever and want to re-elect him? Don't. Someone else will be just exactly as good and if they're not, it's just 2 yrs. Term limits in action via our votes.
