I have a 1968 Ford Mustang GT350 convertible. I bought it in 2000 and it was in pretty rough shape. Over the years I have had work done on it and done some work myself on it so it is a lot nicer today. To max out the value I would still need to dump about $10K into it to have all the little details done right on it.

Yeah, mine looks pretty original. It doesn't have the original wheels and I am missing a few pieces of chrome trim still, but it looks pretty nice. When I bought it the car had been sitting in a barn for 20 years so the body was actually in good shape and didn't have any rust or problems, but the motor and trans and all of the mechanics had pretty much rotted out so that is where I have put the money so far. One of these days I am going to get the last few details of the car done. It looks sharp now, but will look fantastic with those last touches.

I actually have a ton of pics, just on a different computer. When I got it the car had been sitting in a barn for 20 years and didn't run so I have pics of it through all the processes it has been through including it being taken from the barn and transported to my house then various steps along the way. One of these days I plan to take the storage HD out of that old computer and put it in this one and I will post the pics.

I am just thankful whenever any woman takes pity on me and allows me to have sex with her. :)

I've noticed that some men have a mid-life crisis when they hit their forties. This is because they didn't live life when they were younger. They were either strapped with responsibilities (wife, kids) or just didn't have the balls to make it happen. They hit their forties, the kids move out, they drop kick the wife, and they have money to afford a sports car.

I actually know a woman that is doing this right now. She married at 19 and immediately got pregnant. She had two kids by age 22. Now, 18 years later, she and the husband got divorced, the kids are old enough that they are pretty much doing their own thing and she has a good job so she has some money in the bank. She had always been in pretty good shape and looked younger than her age, but she started doing yoga and now has an ass you could bounce a quarter off of. She bought a new Dodge Challenger and has a 23-year-old fuck buddy that she hooks up with a few times a month.

One night one of my friends asked when she was going to settle back down and she said, "Why should I? I am having a blast. I feel like I am 21, but I am wise enough to not do the dumb shit."

One of my big worries when I bought the car was about keeping it original. The motor had been blown in 1981 and it had sat in a barn ever since. My worry was that if the block had cracked the motor might not be repairable. One of the things that makes these cars valuable is having the original numbers matching motor. I ended up getting it anyway. I figured worst case scenario I would just buy a new motor. It would still look cool, just not be worth as much. In the end the motor was able to be fixed, but it had sat so long they basically had to fully rebuild the motor and trans from the ground up. Every hose, wire, belt and cable in the car was rotted out as well so a lot of work went into the mechanics of it.
