When will I be crowned as King?

When will the gfy-community finally crown me as the one and only undisputable and rightful King of BounceRate?

Come on... pluck your chicken and stuff those feathers in my ass... I allready dropped my pantyhose and are currently bent over!

My bouncerate is currently steady under 1% now! (Stats are over one month period)

Did you take a picture of your monitor to show that? :)

PornDude 10-14-2013 06:23 AM

Let me guess, you use an iframe ;)

The old trick that still works I guess.

Don't even know what an iframe is...
I am completely not technical and don't know shit about the tech
part of websites... I went from about 40% to this percentage in over
3,5 years... with every design-change my bouncerate improved.
The latest change i went from around 7% to under 1%.

MaDalton 10-14-2013 07:11 AM

you seem to have Windows 7 or something like that - it's called "Snipping Tool", no extra software necessary ;)

bigPunk 10-14-2013 07:45 AM

you can just click the PRNTSCR button and use MSPaint to save it

If all of your traffic go in via your warning page, it make lot of sense.

No most traffic comes from affiliates that use my galleries. From there they enter the site without warning page.

Even if every visitor comes via warningpage it is still a ridiculous percentage. People decide in a split second to enter or leave. All paysites have warningpages so your argument would mean that all paysites have bouncerates like that.

You're not fooling anyone. You photoshopped your stats and then took a picture of them, to make everyone think you're too dumb to photoshop your stats, so the stats must be real.

Colmike9 10-14-2013 12:36 PM

I can do that, too, but low bounce rate doesn't really mean much in terms of sales...

:1orglaugh

I work with photoshop all the time, making collages etc... so photoshop stats would not be a problem i guess...

Well... You can come over to Holland and sit next to me while i open my stats...

This includes holding your hand and provide you a glass of water and if needed oxygen:1orglaugh

Correct... and without the quality traffic that i get from my affiliates it would not be possible. It's a combination i guess.

I'm happy with my conversion-rates too if i compare these with my competitors.

I guess. But it's still just a basic stat saying if the first click from a surfer is to a link on the same site or not. That's it....

Yeah well... isn't that what it's all about? Make your visitors stay on the site? A high bouncerate says that visitors are not eager to stay on the site and their gone.

Could be for multiple reasons... sending gay traffic to a "midgets getting too-licked"-site
will give a high bouncerate for sure. Doesn't say that the content is bad... at least traffic is not matching.

Visitors that click through the site means that the website is prob appealing to them.
A low bouncerate says that the traffic and the site/content are matching. That's always a good thing.

nexcom28 10-14-2013 02:09 PM

My bounce rate is over 50% which I think is too high. Yet I know hey come from the SE looking for a specific something which I offer them, I think I actually solve their problem too quickly and it has a negative impact on bounce rate.

It could be what it's all about, everyone's different, though.

For example, for site owners that the membership is for that site, yeah bounce rate is very important. Also for the affiliate primarily monetizing on things like CPM ads, popups with no limits, CJ tricks, etc.
But for the standard affiliate, it depends on a lot of things. For example, if a surfer is on a blog and clicks on a banner first, then that's a negative bounce but closer for a sale for that affiliate. But if that blogger decides to make a tour page on that same blog url and link the banner to it, that's a good bounce and closer to a sale, but might or might not appeal to the surfer more than the regular affiliate tour link would have..
I'm ignoring SEO, btw.. :winkwink:

Just sayin' :upsidedow
