How will Americans react to their first Canadian overlord ... er ... President?

If Ted Cruz becomes President of The United States will Americans treat him differently because of his Canadian heritage? When things go bad will we hear anti-Canadian slurs and threats?

He claims he was also born an American citizen through his mother. So far he hasn't provided proof - he needs to prove his American citizen mother spent 10 years in the US prior to his birth and at least 5 of those years after she was 14 years old. If the Democrats and left wing media make the same issue of it as the Republicans and right wing media did of Obama's murky citizenship then he's got a problem, he'll need to provide documentation for his mother's time spent in the US after she was 14, maybe it will be simple for him to do that, maybe not.

George Romney, Mitt's daddy, attempted to run for president and dropped out of the race when it was disclosed he was thought to be ineligible. Governor Romney was born of parents who were citizens of the United States but born on foreign soil -- Mexico -- his parents were missionaries at the time -- he was thought ineligible to become president.

"a natural born citizen" was though to be person born on US soil -- that is why George Romney dropped out of that presidential race.

Ted Cruise 'being from Canada' is the least of his problems. His citizenship won't be any issue in the campaign because he will do so many other idiotic things to lose.

Likewise, If Michelle Bachman was actually a Pakistani national, that would not be the number one reason why she isn't about to become President either.

If either assclown runs for president, it will just prove that American politics are totally fucked. We've sold out to corporations and foreign interests. It's too late.

It will never happen even if he wasn't Canadian.. The only people supporting that nut job are the extreme right. He is hard core religious right and he will never pull support from the middle or left to get enough votes. The only reason people like him, rand Paul, Palin and bachmann are even elected is because the right has gerrymandered those districts so much there is no one that could actually win against them.. However as we have seen prior to this on a national level the kooks don't have the slightest chance.

The sad part is that in their own districts they have no risk of being voted out of office. This is why these morons get away with the shit they are doing.
