If an avs gallery protected site represents credit card yielding traffic, what are the advantages to creating a non-avs protected gallery site to promote a sponsor (a standard tgp)?

the advantage to AVS would be that you know right away your not wasting bandwidth.

Anyone who sucks even 1mb off you has at some time whipped out the big CC and may do so again!

interesting, to me these two statements are equivalent:

10,000 hits 1:1000 = 1 signup
1000 hits 1:100 = 1 signup

getting 1,000 AVS traffic to 1 avs site = 1 week
