Give me a quick Flash lesson
 

I've been working with Flash tutorials from Macromedia and they seem too complicated - telling me what I already know and drawing things out so long that I lose interest. Can someone point me to a quick course on how it works?

ok. learn how to tween, and how to use movie clips. and the rest is creativity buddy. theres your lesson.

I've done that - I'm looking for something that's quicker.

uh, tweening is THE most simple thing to do... if you can't sit there and read a half a page about how to tween, then jus delete the program ;)

There are some decent example files that come with your flash package.. just open them and play with it.

So...

shortcuts? whattaya mean... tweening is the very very basics of flash. its a 100% must to know how to do. i can create a tween within 10 seconds, literally. for example.. make a circle, double click it so you get the outside and inside selected (or just highlight it all), convert it to a graphic symbol... in the timeline, say 10 frames down, click it, then insert keyframe... then move the circle and change any other properties of it, ie opacity / size... then right click in between frames 1 and 10 and create motion tween.. bam.

you can't learn flash quick. Learning Macromedia's tuturials is a must.

Just in case someone else is looking for this kind of info - I did find a couple of helpful sites - with the help of theWatsonian (P_C_) and Mutt . Flashkit.com and Swishzone.com.

I appreciate your help. Just what I was looking for.
