One of the reasons some sites don't sell as much as they should is that they 'talk over' their target audience's head. Use http://www.read-able.com/ to see the GRADE LEVEL of your current text.

Depending on your niche (mainstream or otherwise), it might not be a good idea to use text that reads like it came from some of the stories at http://www.aldaily.com/

Do porn people read?

Mine got a grade level of 4 which it says: "It should be easily understood by 9 to 10 year olds."

So I guess it's damn near perfect for a porn site - right

Build and write for the lowest common denominator and you'll be fine.

That is a cool site...just not sure where my mainstream sites should be.

That's what I get for tossing the occasional big word in there I guess.

Oh well, the pictures will likely help my slower guests understand what's going on.
