Epoch's V3 Payment Form - Innovation for the growing mobile market.

Due to a fast growing mobile marketplace, we have released a new version of our payment form which is specifically designed for users of tablets and smart phones.

We've been monitoring the growth of mobile purchases and the data speaks for itself. More and more people are getting to you via a mobile device and this represents a significant and growing percentage of your sales. This trend is expected to continue. With the introduction of our latest payment form, we believe we can help this trend translate to an even greater boost in mobile sales."

The beta for version three (V3) of our payment form was released a few weeks ago and V3 is now available to all Epoch clients who use our standard payment form. It does not automatically replace payment forms currently being used. Instead, it is an option available to any Epoch client who wishes to take advantage of it.

V3 has the same great benefits of our highly developed Smart Payment Forms. What's new? First, V3 has an updated, more modern look. It has a fresh design and a very clean interface that is ideally suited for smaller screens. Second, it employs bootstrap technology allowing it to scale into tablet and smartphone browsers as well as desktop browsers (including IE7) via responsive CSS. V3 looks great and even adapts to portrait or landscape orientation automatically. It works just as well on a desktop or laptop and is really the best solution available for mobile devices. It simply makes the mobile purchase experience very easy."

If you are not using a custom template with Epoch, then a simple addition of parameter name "version" with a value of "3" (&version=3) will switch your payment pages to V3. Alternatively, you may contact Epoch support to make V3 your default form with no work required on your part. The automated features of Epoch's Smart Payment Forms include language detection, currency conversion, and geo-targeted payment options. All of these features are incorporated into V3.

We are here to help should you have any questions or need assistance in implementing V3.

If its simple enough for a drunk at a night club to use it to sign up to an adult dating rebill offer I may consider using this!

So it only took you 3 years to get on the mobile bandwagon?

Not at all.

Actually, we were one of the first companies to have a mobile detection payment form several years ago.

Our Smart Payment Forms already work great on mobile devices. This new "responsive" payment form using Twitter's Bootstrap technology is simply another tool for our clients to use.
