easy video editor - what is there?
Ok so I use xp and for some reason windows movie maker has decided to go cunty on me lately, all I want to do is this:
join video files + add a splash image at the beginning and/or end. Anyone know of a free simple program that can do this? I'm not looking for high-end editing here, just that simple procedure that windows moviemaker used to do perfectly before a few weeks back. Thanks in advance for suggestions :thumbsup |
The only good video editing programs I know of require windows 98... xp is just too young and new to run anything reliable yet...

oh shit... wait. I was having flashbacks from 12 years ago...

seems the only thing older than xp are your jokes :thumbsup

Worth spending the $40 or so for the basic sony one, it's amazing. You'll save $40 worth of time quickly.

^ doesn't run on XP

On a brighter note, I had to install sp3 to get it to run, which for some reason means I can't load avi files in sony, due to a windows codec being missing, which I can't install, because - actually I can't even be bothered to explain it all. Short version: I've spent 11 years slagging off macs, and swearing blind I would never, ever, use them, as I don't like the interface. Thanks to vista & win7 being the biggest pieces of shit I've ever been forced to use, and the obvious state of play with xp being so outdated now, I'll most likely be getting a mac in the next few weeks. Thanks for the previous replies everyone, your time is much appreciated. |
I use win 7 and Premiere Pro CS6. You can handle anything with it. Final cut pro is same as Prem Pro. Just gonna spend more money on hardware.

try videocharge, we used it to build hundreds of quick FHGs for a bunch of affiliate programs a few years back, worked on xp.. and if I remember correctly it had options to join clips aswell
