bean-aid 10-04-2013 04:46 PM

Yes, i would throw $30/month for the cause.

whOaKemosabe 10-04-2013 06:12 PM

/threadz ....:thumbsup

freecartoonporn 10-05-2013 01:06 AM

AK should start content removing services..

Screwed Up 10-05-2013 01:52 AM

Yes.
But this thread should be a poll.

seeandsee 10-05-2013 02:05 AM

Can somebody point me to AK idea?

GoldBarsXXX 10-05-2013 04:20 AM

Please post in here the amount you are willing to pay. That's all.

PornDude 10-05-2013 04:35 AM

I liked his idea, but as long there will be keep2share, uploaded.to and rapidgator everything is pretty much useless.

Well, it's just my opinion.

GoldBarsXXX 10-05-2013 04:40 AM

Please post in here the amount you are willing to pay monthly. That's all.

adendreams 10-05-2013 05:30 AM

100/month for me

lucas131 10-05-2013 08:40 AM

30-100 here for sure! :thumbsup hope it will go live! :winkwink:

What he said.
But I still think a poll would be better...

All of you guys seem to be struggling on deciding between $30, $60, or $100; that's just a handful of you.

Sure we should have thought of this earlier, but I'd be surprised if we got over 100 long term subscribers. I could see things slowly degrade as people found excuses not to pay a meager percentage every month.

I'm done debating copyright, no use now.

lucas131 10-06-2013 04:41 AM

Make it $100, I'll throw $100 a month in.

arock10 10-06-2013 06:05 AM

$30 is awfully low

SilentKnight 10-06-2013 06:12 AM

I'd consider $100/mnth recurring if there's open accountability and we're kept continually updated on how funds are being spent - and the results.

GoldBarsXXX 10-06-2013 07:52 AM

I think if we reach 100 people maybe AK will make a comment in here and tell us how to handle making such account. Again please only post how much you are willing to pay to support his file locker campaign.

Adult-biz 10-06-2013 08:28 AM

Sorry to be the party pooper but if you do get say 30 - 50 + contributors and then after a couple of months, a third of these contributors drop out, isn`t AK back to where he is now?
I ask because didn`t he mention in the main thread that someone fairly major backed out when they were going to assist?

Not to mention, what people say and what people do are two completely different things. Ask anyone that has ran any sort of charity/donation run. Or hell, ask anyone in sales.

GoldBarsXXX 10-06-2013 08:41 AM

amazing how many times I have to mention to post contribution only. People still don't get it. its really fascinating.

whOaKemosabe 10-06-2013 08:52 AM

doesn't he need to get out of the $15k debt first

NWB Guy 10-06-2013 09:34 AM

I will support it.

He said he's going to take care of that himself from his other assets, he's probably doing some sacrificing (not just his time now) by taking that money to cover the current costs.

Please consider what he's doing and chip in. :)

MrDeiz 10-06-2013 09:51 AM

i'm donating $150/m on a regular basis

those it's big and small studios who should support it, not affiliates

I retract and rebuke this statement, I believe there is hope after all.

Hope springs eternal, but in this case the tenacity brings the wanted results to fruition.

most major companies have their dedicated department to fight piracy/ takedown content.
or at least they are paying some 3rd party to do this work.

The Ghost 10-06-2013 11:11 AM

$100 month / np

its too easy nowadays.
and these filelockers are starting like crazy. there will be always one active in the end.

its the same as tubes , you cant beat it.
and its not the only reason, there fucking torrent sites which you cant break, tpb is still up after all these years and lawsuites.

I trust AK but there are too many leaks like tubes, filelockers, password sharing sites, siterips, torrent sites and many more.

my best wishes.

The cost to us of hiring a trainee for a year is $350 per 35 hour week, plus 9% loading for Superannuation and $390 per year for workers compensation insurance.

It's already expensive to do this work. We pay for offices, servers, legal fees, cloud services such as our project management system, accounting and databases. We also have courier, postage, photocopying, teleconferencing and office expenses to cover.

This project will not be able to continue without support from the industry. We would appreciate any assistance that people can provide so that we can make an even bigger impact than we already have on the file locker ecosystem.

If you believe this project is worthwhile then please contribute via https://copycontrol.org/contribute

Thank you to everyone who has already contributed and those who will contribute in the future.

He hasn't given the link yet. I'm waiting for it, lol, but that is his old link. Is it recurring?

Basically, I have a credit card and want to sign it up for $30/month recurring... how that happen?

It's currently setup via Paypal. Which you can use your CC to fund.

You can fund it... but it comes from paypal. So then it is deducted from paypal which many don't want, including myself. Paypal will put your account in the negative and then start charging you interest, it's a pain in the ass.

I am 100% positive AK has been trying to setup a regular join with CC option... and has not posted the link yet.

AdultKing 10-20-2013 08:55 PM

I just pumped $4,000 into the project today as we were down to just a few dollars left.

Funds help pay the following bills:

Office Rent
Telephones
Office Administration
Programming
Cloud Services for Accounting, Data Collection & Analysis, Podio etc
Servers
Courier and Postage fees
Photocopying and Printing
Legal Fees
Accounting Fees
Specialist Services
Travel to meetings
Teleconferencing
Secure Document Destruction
Subscriptions to services such as Domain Tools

We will also be putting on an office administration trainee to take some of the administrative workload away from myself so I can spend more time killing sites.

This is an expensive project and I am putting in a lot of work into making us more productive and better at killing sites. There are some great new initiatives planned that wil help more people and broaden the scope of the campaign. So every dollar of support helps.

If you want, I could setup a page for regular CC accounts. You just need to trust me that I would then forward that to you. Is only option right now paypal? It's not that big of a deal but I can't stand paypal. As soon as I get money into paypal, I take it out.
