if you actually pay attention most of the reduction in size is in the plastic housing. I wouldnt sweat it...the 3 black is easily as good

Awesome! I have been putting off getting one but the new one is impossible to resist. I'm going to connect it to my AR Drone 2.0 and have some nerd fun.

the faster wifi

I have the GoPro3 Black, and the battery life sucks!!!! Great footage thou with proper lighting. Snowboarding scenes were epic

get the wasabi batteries on amazon 25 bucks gets 2 spare batteries and an ac/car charger for them...THE must have for hero 3

As soon as i got my black i sold the wifi remote id like to see the option without it.

. Firmware will not update to latest version
. Battery is not that bad but gets a little hot
. I have to remove SD card to view or transfer videos
