Indoor/Outdoor Security Cameras - Suggestions?

I'm not paranoid... well, a little... but looking for a solution for indoor and outdoor security cameras.

I have two IP cameras that I have in my house, bought them from Amazon to watch my dogs when we are not at home. The one just crapped out yesterday, so assuming the other is on the way out too. The nice feature is you can pan and scan remotely, even from a smart phone.

What I'm looking for is something that I can view on a mobile device, specifically an iPhone. I've seen a few, but the reviews are pretty bad -- mainly having to do with something non product related or some idiot thinking he didn't need hardware to record on.

I'm not sure if I'm going to go the wireless route, but either way, doesn't matter. Indoors, I would like to get two or three, ideally that move, but not necessary if they have a wide view. Exterior I'd like two as well.

There are a few that I saw that can connect to an intercom on your front door. That would be amazing so those Saturday/Sunday mornings at 11am when someone is pounding on my door to sell me a newspaper, I don't have to pull my hungover ass out of bed to answer it :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

I always buy the cheap chinese versions off ebay. Foscam is probably the most popular of the bunch. The trouble is you get what you pay for. I have yet to have one last more than 3 years before dying. If you want something with a good hi-def picture that actually lasts, you have to pony up for something like a mobotix. The trouble is you can buy about 8 foscams for the price of one mobotix.

I've just purchased some chinese with 700 tv lines. I think I should buy some HD cameras, but it is asking to change DVR and this is too much work in this moment
