Anybody (else) here benefitting from ObamaCare?

I haven't been insured for a number of years now - I pay for anything out-of-pocket up here and schedule routine stuff when I'm in Colombia. I own a taxi in New York and starting tomorrow, I'll be able to sign up for insurance through NYC/ObamaCare - not exactly sure but I've received notifications from the Taxi & Limo Comission that it's almost here. Then I just read in today's NY Post that for New Yorkers, the rates will actually go down, at least in the beginning.

My plan is to sign up for the best (Presidential) plan - and see what that gets me.

Anyone else happy to have the opportunity to be insured?

My insurance will cost less about 75% of what I was paying and I will get a better policy

one of my authors, a CPA wrote a pretty good bit on it on my blog...its explained simply and accurately

Premiums in NY will go down on average of 14% - NY is one of 3-4 states who will see premiums reduced as a result of this.

Oh my god. It's armageddon. People are getting inexpensive health insurance. This is what Republicans are fighting against -- the right for "freeloaders" to pay a fair price for something that everyone should be able to get, on some level.

Still waiting on California to get it together.
I will only benefit from Obamacare, if child support laws
are refashioned, as proposed. If so, I'm buying a new car.

:2 cents:

I haven't checked yet for myself.

Private insurance through Humana now for about $450/month. I am homesteaded in FL so I would have to go by those rates.

Nope. I'm not going to be.
Like it has been stated above, this isn't "National Health Insurance".
It is FORCED Health Insurance.
Bullshit.
