HELP: Technical question... Macbook problem

I have tried everything to fix this issue (or it seems I have tried it all)

I cannot reach this website. www.VaporShark.com

Here is what I have tried.

- 3 different browsers - Safari, Firefox, and Chrome.
- I have removed and reinstalled all 3 browsers
- I have tried using a proxy
- Disabled all firewalls on my network
- Reset DHCP (several times)
- Cleared out the hosts files and flushed DNS
- Used a TOR browser
- Used my own proxy server based in Amsterdam
- Went to Keychain and cleared the certificate for the site
- Tried using HTTPS, with www and without

Still cannot reach this site. I can traceroute and the trace resolves just fine. The page acts like it is going to load but just sits there and hangs without loading any of the content.

I can access the site from 3 other computers (2 Mac and one PC), 2 mobile phones, and 3 handheld devices (2 android one ipad) on the SAME WIFI network.

This is by far the most bizarre issue I have ever encountered and thought some of you EXPERTS would have an idea that I might have missed.

Thanks for the help.

I did that and since I am running 10.8, I also did the official one

sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder

How dare you besmirch Apples good name. It's obviously your fault.
At this precise moment a crack team of apple fanboys are heading to your house to take you down.

its most likely an issue with your modem or ISP.

I've had this happen a few times in the past. Have you tried going to another location with your Macbook like Starbucks or McDonalds?

You'll need to call your ISP and tell them you're having issues accessing websites. They will take you through 87 different steps, but just say you are doing them. They can reset things on their end, but at my old office, we had this all the time with Comcast for some reason.

Try this: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/50...orks-elsewhere

or the easiest answer is often the correct one... they banned you :1orglaugh

Make a new user and log in there. Does it still happen?
