Windows 8.0
It's like beta software.
its not that bad.

"Windows for Dummies"
More like Windows by Dummies.
Hated it at first, then went back to it. Like it so much, I got an Asus Vivo tab and retired my iPad.
worse than DOS4.0
The most fun I had with it was when I opened an image and it went fullscreen and I couldn't even figure out how to print the image. Ctrl p? Really? Oh i see, i need to use the "charms" bar. Thanks M $ for making something as simple as printing so obtuse and adding extra steps. Of course all its quirks can be fixed easily, but you shouldn't have to spend so much time changing settings just to make things work intuitively. Honestly I like it a lot once you get everything tweaked and add classic shell, (seems even more stable than win7) but it's so pathetic that the new interface they were trying to push is totally useless and you basically need to disable it.

I installed start is back on the two computers I have running windows 8.0
If I ever encounter the retarded start screen or anything opens in an "app", alt-f4, alt-tab are the way to disassociate from the shit I used to disable under "Tablet". This is that cunts fault. |
microsoft = NSA

It's freezing up a lot too.
8.1 is coming with several fixes and updates. This is the real deal. 8.0 is like beta, really.

I'm still undecided.

Problem is on your side. You dont know how to use it.
only for touch screens. No need to use it otherwise, where Win7 rocks.
It's not bad but if you have to use win 7 (and old versions) and win 8 at the same time it creates bad user experience... I'm still trying to find start menu on the right corner while i'm using win 7 at the office :)
