Kinkbomb vs Clips4Sale
I've been using both for a couple years, and I've decided I like Kinkbomb much better.
? I get more internal sales on Kinkbomb without external promotion. I still have to promote on Kinkbomb, but on weeks where I'm lazy, the internal traffic keeps the store going. ? Their back end interface is much easier to work with ? Coupons and discounts. These are huge for me, because it allows me to have the girls promote on their fan pages and they earn more money (recurring income) other than what they were paid for the shoot itself. Plus, the coupons allow me to track which sales they sent vs the ones I sent. ? I have much more control over my pricing on Kinkbomb as they don't base their minimum pricing on the length of the scene. Clips4Sale has live support, which I love. I like and I use both, but my success rate has been much better with Kinkbomb. BTW.. not affiliated with Kinkbomb other than my store itself. Just thinking out loud and wanted to get other people's experience with either one. |
But, which do you make more revenue from?
I've made zilch from kinkbomb over two years...and great sales from C4s for the last 7 years. |
Definitely Kinkbomb. But admittedly I do promote that store more than I do my C4S store simply because Kinkbomb gives me the tools to encourage the models to do the promotion for me.
A model posting a link on her FB fan page with her new video and a discount for fans has proven huge for me. |

http://www.kinkbomb.com/V10035.html Which surprises the shit out of me. She's very plain Jane looking to me, and all she does is masturbate with some beads. Nothing real fetishy if you ask me.. I definitely have much hotter girls, so it baffles me why she's the top seller.. but Oh well I'll take it. |
I will however say that I've built a following from my Ebay sales who followed me over to KB after they shut me down, so that might have something to do with it..
(They didn't exactly shut me down.. just stopped me from selling downloadable content. But my sales dropped like a rock on there after they told me I had to ship a physical DVD. Oh well.. I went from paying them over $300/mo in fees to about $2/mo..) |
