OK, not really, but I am a little confused. I submitted a gallery to three of the larger link list sites (I realize I probably can't name them here, so I'll just say THGGRR).

One site's submission form doesn't even work, one denied me because he said my site wasn't a free site (wtf?), and the third one rejected me because they detected javascript on the site. JAVASCRIPT! I know that it can be used for nefarious purposes, but it has far more legit purposes than shady ones. Given how many sites are using WP, which uses javascript, and given that Google Analytic's tracking code uses it was well, it just seems archaic to me.

What sites do you submit your galleries to? What kind of traffic have you gotten as a result?

No javascript, at all. keep site very simple, easy to use, lost of pics (20-30 is enough) split up by two gallery pages. 2 outgoing links on each page.. shouldn't be hard to get listed.

For galleries, use Chameleon Submitter (understand it and be thorough) and include 15-20 pics. Keep it simple.. 2 outbound links.. no javascript.

no java on galleries is an old rule that's been in place for a reason. Some people spoil it for others.
