I think they are so obsessed with bizarre idea that tommorrow they can make a walking talking search engine man.

They can do everything and they want to own the whole world. They are motivated by this desire, so they are more than crazy )

It was already done by GM in 1996 they had a self driving Vectra.
Perhaps they will buy someone elses product then reap rewards only to shelve it a year later.

errrrrrrrrr that horrible company ! really hope the company website flops in the rankings !

These cars will be awesome. I'd buy one and start a taxi service. Someone would call me up and I would send the car to pick up the person.

First and foremost Google should know its place it in the world...if they think they can compete with car manufacturers being in the business since WW2... they will crash and burn in the end, no doubt.

While I vaguely loathe and love google... A driverless car is my DREAM! imagine no more speeding tickets, while also being able to get around at hundreds of miles per hour (if all cars were driverless.)

Being able to get on the web or sleep while traveling, no more long roadtrips through the night - just sleep!

Wrecks would be down significantly, human deaths by cars would plummet to near zero - and it would become somewhere similar to airplane deaths. A VERY minute number, but each one being sensationalized by the media...sounds like a dream to me!

Don't you enjoy driving cars? I like thinking about different things when making a long run on a highway. Now robos will enjoy this process, not me.

I also hear about it that Google making a car. Is it true friends?? If it is true, then i am so exited to see that amazing car Made by Google. I'm wondering how it will look. What are the features. Its millage as well as its pick up etc...........
