CANADA allows veiled Muslim women to bypass airport security *PIX*
http://banislamofficial.files.wordpr...pg?w=300&h=198
In Canada now, political correctness trumps security. Flying while Muslim means you won?t be forced to uncover your face or lift up your burqa before boarding a plane. Are we feeling safer yet? Each passenger must submit his/her own passport and boarding pass so they can be identified at the last check in point before boarding the aircraft. EXCEPT FOR MUSLIMS! Canada airport security will not ask a veiled Muslim to remove her veil and prove her identity. Frequent flyers know the drill: take off your shoes, surrender your tweezers and pack your shampoo in those little plastic baggies before lining up for the naked body scanners. But lift your niqab? Apparently not. QMI Agency can reveal thatneither airlines nor security services are asking Muslim women to lift their veils and prove that the face beneath matches their photo ID. Meanwhile in the USA, background checks which would have stopped Aaron Alexis from owning a gun resulted in yet another gun rampage.

Let's not allow facts to get in the way of a good misleading thread title:
The CTV news story linked in the above story clearly states: "Current regulations require all travelers to show their faces so they can be matched to I.D. photos regardless of culture or religion." |
Is it just me or does it look like they were boarding the plane and not "going through security?"
HUGE difference. They don't check your ID when you're getting on a plane... only when you're going into the secured area. |

Govt. is working on a new charter to avoid this for workers in the public sphere. Basically no ostentatious symbols for government workers, seems pretty legit. |

Well, how can we know that these women are not terrorists ?
What the fuck is that ? "I have veil, I should be able to bypass the security." Well, its illogical. Canada is well-known with its freedom, but there must be a limit. I am not generalizing the muslim people, but there is a bad image of muslims in the world for those who are terrorists/terrorism related stupid fucking "Jihad" thingy. I mean, FUCK. p.s : I am not a Muslim, I am an atheist. |
I think Muslims should have their own airlines. Air-Mohammad, and be allowed if not encouraged to board with all the explosives they can carry.
Inflight movies can have tutorials on subjects like "how to fire an AK47 while standing in the open sunroof of your Peugeot" Just a thought .. |

That's just it. There is no limit, it's getting worse and worse. |
Some interesting comments in the article, I agree with this:
The airport could quickly put a stop to this garbage by instituting one concrete rule. *EVERYONE* who wears a face covering MUST go into a separate room to have their ID checked. If they travel they should be made to unveil. |

where is that noted to have on their head?

The video I watched clearly showed the entire faces of the first 2. The third was looking the other way. JIDF is really getting pathetic these days. The original website being posted here should be called hatemongeringbullshit.com

As a female muslim lady who wears a burqa. I feel that it is only right that countries such as Canada should enforce my humane and religious right to wear a veil. Only my husband is allowed to see me, right before he pounds me.
I only wish other countries would follow suit. It's an outrage in todays society that I am unable to pass freely from country to country restricted by identity checks, clothing checks, body checks. |
i'd wish that all religious nutcases move to some part of the world to live together and then we just cut them off from the rest of us. and i dont mean just muslims

Religious laws to not trump secular laws. End of discussion, humanity wins.

Edit: nm, I saw you post that you posted the article word for word and mistook that as being the entire article. Further down in the linked article it says Heathrow bound. Edit edit: It's not even really an article though. It's a random blog post on a site called Ban Islam. So it has as much creditability as a YouTube video. I also have a very hard time believing that CATSA does not care the least bit about identity. |
man those people stuck in a stone age... they probably smell like shit in the summer from all the sweat inside that bag
|
It's very understandable. Canada is a ball-less country, and will go with the flow. The path of least resistance.
Until it is blown apart... which will not happen. After all, who wants to piss off Canada? |

Background checks don't do shit anyway, you think every nut case is already on some fucking list...does that make you feel safe to sleep at night?
Sorry to burst your bubble baby BUT the reality is that most of the people who are going to do this sort of thing are NOT on any list at all. It will be the first time they do something. Security is an illusion and you trying to control the world is bullshit. Sorry |
What the article fails to divulge ,,,, is that all veiled plane boarders are subject to a kick in the groin.
The ones that fall to the ground yelling "OH MY ALLAH!!" while clutching their groin regions, are identified as (male) terrorists in disguise, and are immediately placed in detention at Tim Hortons. |
