CANADA allows veiled Muslim women to bypass airport security *PIX*

http://banislamofficial.files.wordpr...pg?w=300&h=198

In Canada now, political correctness trumps security. Flying while Muslim means you won?t be forced to uncover your face or lift up your burqa before boarding a plane. Are we feeling safer yet?

Each passenger must submit his/her own passport and boarding pass so they can be identified at the last check in point before boarding the aircraft. EXCEPT FOR MUSLIMS! Canada airport security will not ask a veiled Muslim to remove her veil and prove her identity.

Frequent flyers know the drill: take off your shoes, surrender your tweezers and pack your shampoo in those little plastic baggies before lining up for the naked body scanners. But lift your niqab? Apparently not.

QMI Agency can reveal thatneither airlines nor security services are asking Muslim women to lift their veils and prove that the face beneath matches their photo ID.

Meanwhile in the USA, background checks which would have stopped Aaron Alexis from owning a gun resulted in yet another gun rampage.

Let's not allow facts to get in the way of a good misleading thread title:

The CTV news story linked in the above story clearly states:

"Current regulations require all travelers to show their faces so they can be matched to I.D. photos regardless of culture or religion."

epitome 09-18-2013 04:03 PM

Is it just me or does it look like they were boarding the plane and not "going through security?"

HUGE difference. They don't check your ID when you're getting on a plane... only when you're going into the secured area.

Every time I have come back from Canada to the states on Air Canada, they have asked me to produce my passport at the gate. :2 cents:

Govt. is working on a new charter to avoid this for workers in the public sphere.

Basically no ostentatious symbols for government workers, seems pretty legit.

Calm down, I posted an article, word for word.

adelie89 09-19-2013 07:35 AM

Well, how can we know that these women are not terrorists ?

What the fuck is that ? "I have veil, I should be able to bypass the security." Well, its illogical.

Canada is well-known with its freedom, but there must be a limit. I am not generalizing the muslim people, but there is a bad image of muslims in the world for those who are terrorists/terrorism related stupid fucking "Jihad" thingy.

I mean, FUCK.

p.s : I am not a Muslim, I am an atheist.

L-Pink 09-19-2013 07:46 AM

I think Muslims should have their own airlines. Air-Mohammad, and be allowed if not encouraged to board with all the explosives they can carry.

Inflight movies can have tutorials on subjects like "how to fire an AK47 while standing in the open sunroof of your Peugeot"

Just a thought ..

That's just it. There is no limit, it's getting worse and worse.

Some interesting comments in the article, I agree with this:

The airport could quickly put a stop to this garbage by instituting one concrete rule. *EVERYONE* who wears a face covering MUST go into a separate room to have their ID checked.

If they travel they should be made to unveil.

Captain Kawaii 09-19-2013 10:24 AM

The video I watched clearly showed the entire faces of the first 2. The third was looking the other way. JIDF is really getting pathetic these days. The original website being posted here should be called hatemongeringbullshit.com

This was on our news today:

Quote:

A review into whether NHS staff in England should be allowed to wear full face veils has been ordered by the Government.

Ministers have written to the General Medical Council to ask the regulator to decide whether there is a problem with face-to-face contact.

Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt says he has a "great deal of sympathy" with patients who do not want to be treated by a doctor or nurse with their whole face covered

I found this comment pretty funny.

And another which does make sense:

Quote:

On virtually every shop door now there is a notice telling all who wear hoods to remove them so that the security cameras can see the faces properly for security reasons so there should be no difference. In any case we now have a situation where there are known Muslim terrorists living in this country so for the safety of everyone the government has a duty to ban these veils.

Earlier this week a judge ruled that a Muslim woman will be allowed to stand trial while wearing a full-face veil but must remove it while giving evidence.
This is interesting. The response of the accused during a trial can have influence over the jury.

nexcom28 09-19-2013 01:02 PM

As a female muslim lady who wears a burqa. I feel that it is only right that countries such as Canada should enforce my humane and religious right to wear a veil. Only my husband is allowed to see me, right before he pounds me.

I only wish other countries would follow suit. It's an outrage in todays society that I am unable to pass freely from country to country restricted by identity checks, clothing checks, body checks.

MaDalton 09-19-2013 01:07 PM

i'd wish that all religious nutcases move to some part of the world to live together and then we just cut them off from the rest of us. and i dont mean just muslims

I didn't see the article mention they were flying international?

Edit: nm, I saw you post that you posted the article word for word and mistook that as being the entire article. Further down in the linked article it says Heathrow bound.

Edit edit: It's not even really an article though. It's a random blog post on a site called Ban Islam. So it has as much creditability as a YouTube video. I also have a very hard time believing that CATSA does not care the least bit about identity.

qwe 09-19-2013 03:36 PM

dimfizz 09-19-2013 03:42 PM

It's very understandable. Canada is a ball-less country, and will go with the flow. The path of least resistance.

Until it is blown apart... which will not happen. After all, who wants to piss off Canada?

Every state in the union requires background checks. In addition he did nothing to disqualify him from passing a background check.

JockoHomo 09-22-2013 08:20 PM

Background checks don't do shit anyway, you think every nut case is already on some fucking list...does that make you feel safe to sleep at night?

Sorry to burst your bubble baby BUT the reality is that most of the people who are going to do this sort of thing are NOT on any list at all. It will be the first time they do something.

Security is an illusion and you trying to control the world is bullshit. Sorry

facialfreak 09-23-2013 03:21 AM

What the article fails to divulge ,,,, is that all veiled plane boarders are subject to a kick in the groin.

The ones that fall to the ground yelling "OH MY ALLAH!!" while clutching their groin regions, are identified as (male) terrorists in disguise, and are immediately placed in detention at Tim Hortons.
