well just need a simpel one for customers to ask questions in etc.

Vbulletin is the one I've looked at before. I'm thinking of putting one on my "local Winnipeg" non-adult site.

If it's going to be small scale, Ikonboard does a good job, even when using DBM.

phpscripts has a real nice one..cheap too..

Phpbb is SWEET. So is ikonboard.

I think phpbb has the edge... but I use ikon.

I just installed that phpbb script last week on a little hobby site. Nothing fancy, not a lot of traffic, but it works great and was really easy to install and get going.
