I need to moved a shared hosting account asap, can any shared hosts here help?
 

So one of my shared hosts just informed me they no longer allow adult content and need me to change hosts within 24 hours. It's just a shared hosting account with about 20 addons domains and around 20 wordpress installations but I have absolutely no idea how I would go about moving this.

Is there an adult shared host that can help with this?

Also do I just create a full backup from within Cpanel? and I just give that to the new host or ?

I just got hit with this shit and really just want to go to bed but at the same time I want to make sure my sites are okay lol.

Yeah it's Cpanel, my main host said they're transferring it to them right now so we'll see how it goes.

BUT I think I might be checking out the different adult hosts on this forum because now I'm not comfortable with having my sites at a non-adult specialized host.

I have a bunch of shared accounts that I have spread around just hosting lots of Wordpress adult blogs and luckily the host I'm moving from just had around 20 or so of my blogs hosted (but those blogs are making sales so I didn't want to lose them!).

You would be surprised how many adult websites 'mainstream' hosts who allow adult have. But yea. Any host you go with as long as they have cPanel should be quick to move sites over as long as they know how to use cPanel well.

If you still need/want to move, hit up Naked Hosting. They'll take care of everything and they are amazing.

Hey epitome! Thanks for the welcome back :) it has been quite awhile! I just ended up getting bored of adult and needed to take a break from it so I basically left my entire blog network alone except for doing the occasionally Wordpress Upgrade. I'm starting to get back into the swing of things and will probably start working on my sites again (Google blessed me with some nice traffics gains out of nowhere a few weeks back) and coming by here more often.

I sure will, as soon as the transfer is complete and my service has been canceled there I will definitely name the host. I was just a little mad because before I even signed up with them I made sure to verify that they would be fine hosting my sites and be fine with adult content and they gave me the okay and everything was fine for the 1 1/2 years the account was with them...and then they send me an email at 12am telling me I have 24 hours before they suspend my account due to "pornography content."

Hmm. I know of an adult blogger who just had their domain name canned by Bluehost who decided to enforce their no-adult TOS. (She thought it was for hosting only - not just nameservers.) Wonder if this is related.

You could just go with Digital Ocean instead they start at $5 a month and are easy to set up

Digital Ocean is awesome too, and they allow adult content, but you'll have to manage your server. It's a pain in the ass to install a simple CMS like WordPress! You'll have to type several lines of codes in a terminal like MS DOS.

I really prefer to pay a little more to have cPanel / WHM so I can easily manage my server.
