watch out that godaddy thieves!
watch godaddy out! they are nothing but fucking bastard thieves! just wanted to buy two domains, got both into my shopping cart, then found cheap code where it allows me to buy one domain but second was expensive, so deleted the second somain from cart, bought the first domain, then back to register domain, but the second domain i wanted was not free anymore, it was in godaddy auction! so, they are scanning anything you do, and if you make mistake like me, you can lose it! so now they want 60usd as a bid to get domain that was free few minutes ago, and if i would not want to buy it, it will be still free! but those motherfuckers just scan my order and took a chance to scam me for 60usd ... fucking bastards ... fucking wow! go fuck yourself godaddy!!! bitch!

Here's the first post I found after a quick search about something similar with them from 2008: http://revision3.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23743 According to this report if you wait three days it might be back. Good luck. :) |
they are really gone to shit
That has happened to me more then once! I still use them though! LOL
They suck.
As long as they take my sweet "49% off" coupon I will still use them :winkwink:
That was in the news about a year back about them doing that,.

now i know, and, still in their auction auction, even when i am already owner of that domain through name.com, this is really some pure crap scam ... :2 cents: :)
I have learned that lesson already long time ago... years ago... never check if a domain is available on a registrar whois nor any 3rd party whois and since then I have never had such situation again. :pimp
That's exactly why left them years ago in favor of namecheap..

scamming assholes :321GFY

Be your own Godaddy. |
this is rather known, but is it even legal though?
try to register your domain after 5 days ..
godaddy registers the domain and if nobody shows interest in it within 5 days , they will drop it after 5 days . All big registrars has this facility to buy and hold new domains for 5 days without paying for it. and dont use godaddy for looking up domains , i only use then when i am ready to buy them instantly and i buy then using coupon only... |

also searched for domain yesterdays and today it's unavailable at godaddy, but available at other registrars
pure scam |
GoDaddy sucks harder than a crackwhore... :pimp
So what exactly happened if your name was available everywhere (name etc), but not on godaddy? It means they did not register it, yet tried to fool you into thinking that thy registered it?

Looks like they pulling network solution trick, where they were auto-registering every domain which you were searching there.
