'truthers' - this is why sane people view you as nutjobs

some crank cunt just shared this on facebook as an 'example' of how the illuminati are sending subliminal messages to us and our kids.

jaw-dropping idiocy here: http://worldtruth.tv/why-walt-disney...ur-children-2/

that isn't subliminal, that's making shit up that isn't intentionally there. 6 degrees of separation doesn't just apply to the population...

Jel 09-12-2013 06:42 PM

as a side note, you can link pretty much anything to anything through those 6 degrees, I smell a few ideas brewing in myself, seems pretty big business - the latest 'religion', almost.

bronco67 09-12-2013 06:44 PM

If you were one of these guys, you'd be looking for dicks in seemingly harmless places.

Jel 09-12-2013 06:55 PM

exactly, and other conspiracies too. Just the fact people believe the above link, to the point of sharing it on fb and not in a 'look at these mental cases' way, goes a long way to my understanding of why ct nuts are like that with just about everything.

Isn't the supposed hidden sexual stuff in Disney films old news? I remember hearing about it in the 80's when I was in high school.

Rochard 09-12-2013 08:09 PM

I swear to god I should open up a 9/11 fourm, allow a few nut cases to post, and then boom start posting like I do... (as you all can plainly see) I can go nutz on a forum. I'll make millions.

I honestly think that'd be a great earner :2 cents:

posting here = $0 (ok, token value for sig views/branding/clicks)
posting on a ct forum you own = >$0

bean-aid 09-12-2013 08:16 PM

Its like the message on camel cigs. Within the camel are 2 gay guys fucking... the message... well it is a conspiracy.

Barry-xlovecam 09-12-2013 08:20 PM

But they don't give credit to the Lizard People that tell the Illuminati what do do! Some CT guys don't know shit ...

Lion King - 1994

Subliminal Message found in "Lion King", the scene where the character falls on the flowers and raises a cloud of dust. It is noticeable the word "fri".

In two different scenes, airborne particles form the word "FRI." This image has a duration of approximately one hundredth of a second, and you can only see them when the video image is frozen.
TIME Magazine said that the video is the dirtiest, most vicious and loaded and satanism and violence that Disney has ever produced, and that children who watch this movie today, will be the next killers of tomorrow. John Smith (deceased AIDS victim) was a homosexual who created and Scar, the effeminate lion that walks in the film rolling. The song sung by Scar, Shirley McLane is one of the biggest propagators of the New Age, which says: "Long live the New Age, was already old." Rafiki the baboon witch tells the lion that the stars will guide you. Clear reference to astrology. He also says that this does not feel bad about killing someone. The lion father (now dead) speaks of the clouds with his son, a clear allusion to reincarnation.
what is the above out to achieve, assuming the writer isn't a buddy of Overload's?

purecane 09-12-2013 08:45 PM

i'm just sayin'...i watched fantasia, i saw with my own two eyes mickey mouse rip a page out of the music book, eat it, and then the room starts spinning and gets all rainbow looking....acid trip maybe????? come on man, minnie mouse looks like a dick in that picture too........i'm not saying you have to believe, i'm saying you shouldn't say people are "nutters" for believing that walt disney was a twisted sexual deviant.

Jel 09-12-2013 08:50 PM

they aren't saying that though - they are saying this is some kind of ongoing sublimal conditioning towards some kind of end. what end? subliminal? hardly - more like 'inside' adult jokes, much like any kids movie nowadays. unless that's part of the illuminati's plan to brainwash kids into '?????', which is what the link in the OP, and the one you posted, are alluding to.

How can any sane person take that seriously?

This is where I think sane people are more confused than the insane. It may be insanity to look for something that isn't there until you see it. But the flip side is that you can't discount the fact that they see it. Whether it is there or not does not make their views/understanding and perceptions, less valid to them than yours are to you. I might see the sky as being dark purple. You see it as blue. How much explaining on my part to you is going to make you see dark purple?

We used to live in a world where crazy people got punched in the face or locked up. Now they not only all have a voice but political correctness makes you asshole if you call them crazy and with the internet and knowing just how many dipshits there are around us, it feels like we are surrounded. I personally look at crazy people as being put on this earth to entertain me. When they aren't busy blogging about seeing the Virgin Mary in their omlette or casually explaining the laws of themodynamics and physics to explain 9/11 though they were D students that dropped out of high school... they are flipping our hamburgers, delivering our pizzas and pumping our gas. So they aren't all bad, they are still useful. Its just a matter of adjusting our perspective and understanding of them.

The flip side is indeed that it's there *if you specifically look for it*, same as you can associate anything with anything *if you take the time to look for the association*. I'd argue that is certainly a less valid viewpoint that not believing that because there is an extremely tenuous link between A and F, with B, C, D, and E having to also be drawn into it, that any such link is not the illuminati, or intentional subliminal mind control.

As for the colour of the sky analogy - that's apples and oranges. A differently viewed single colour relates to layers of subterfuge, subliminality, and conspiracies, how?

But... I of course get exactly what you're saying about the fact they do 'see' it, which is why threads like these are ultimately a total waste of time, but I'm ill and just can't get into work mode, so here it is lol.

A touch condascending (ha, like I can talk), but yeah, I get your point :thumbsup

I liken it to the 'jar of sweets', as I call it. Some experiment... big jar, filled with marble sized sweets, bunch of people asked to guess how many sweets in the jar. Some were ridiculously low '17', some were ridiculously high '70,000'. You know where this is going no doubt - added up all the guesses, averaged them out, and it was like a few off the actual amount of sweets.

Nature needs those oddballs with the ridiculous answers/behaviour to make the 'flow' of the world, universe, blahblah continue. When dealing with idiots at work, in the supermarket, in the pub (back when), at the tax office, customer service jobsworths, and all the other annoying shit like female drivers for example, I have to remember - not having those total fuckwits on the planet is like dividing by zero, and the universe would either implode or disappear up it's own asshole :)

To address your first point.. yes, that was what I was saying. if you are looking for something and want to see it... you'll see it. But the important point to understand when looking at a nutjob is to first understand that "he saw it"... so its then real to him. You can't argue with them that its not there, it didn't happen and it doesn't exist... anymore than you can walk into a wall and i can then convince you that wall isn't there.

To address the point quoted above...It's not apples and oranges, its perception and understanding and belief. A sane person looks at facts. An insane person is twisting facts into something else. But the key thing to understand is that "something else' those facts were twisted into is also then real to that person.. every bit as real to them as what you understand and believe is real to you.

If look at this pic below and see an old woman and I look at this pic and see a young woman... am i likely to succeed in convincing you that what you see is wrong? Are you likely to succeed in convincing me that I am wrong? Are we both likely to accept we are both right?

My point was that an insane persons perceptions, understandings, interpretations are no less valid to him than yours are to you. So attempting to explain they are wrong and why is a losing proposition. I can explain all day to you that water isn't wet. I can give you 1000 examples and explanations as to why that's fact, its just going to see silly to you. But the inverse is also likely to be true. Complicating this is our own natural tendencies to shun change and the unfamiliar. People instantly resist the notion that they are wrong. That's a defensive response of the brain.

Our interpretations of reality are not based on an objective understanding of what is. Reality is nothing more than a model we've constructed in our own mind or maybe more similar to a map. As with a map, its still based on our own highly subjective interpretation of what we believe is. We can see a road on the map, we know the road goes from a to b. Is the road in good shape or bad? Is the road paved or not? Thats where the "crazy" comes in and where the "crazy" starts filling in the blanks and creates a very distorted map of reality. Our brains use many many different cognitive biases and filters which affect our understanding and our interpretations of whats happening around us. Some people however, have various mental issues, disorders and diseases which even further distort or retard their ability interpret and understand the world around them, but they still have built what they feel is a very accurate model/map of the world in their mind and its every bit as real to them as yours is to you... though theirs might often seem grossly distorted and not at all representative of the world around us.

And I agree. I hate idiots. But we need idiots to make the world work. They world would be a mess if every single person wanted to be a rocket scientist. :)

I used to be annoyed with crazy people... now I'm just fascinated with them.
