Court TV rocks!
I also TLC and Discovery for all the weird hour specials! |
we don't get it up here.:(

we also have a different legal system then the US - i couldn't imagine how boring a Canadian Court TV would be.

I have been a CourtTV fan for years, ever since the OJ trial. I used to post on their message boards all the time. It was great having an intelligent two way discussion with loads of people that all thought they knew what they were talking about . . . .. kind of like here, but no requests for tits, or death threats.
But to answer your question, yeah CourtTV is #1, during the day. Can't wait for the Robert Blake trial. . . . . So, you think he will be released on bail after the prelims? |
court tv rocks because you can see how all these people fuck up when commiting their crimes. i like the forensic shows more than thre trials.

I remember watching the OJ trial on CourtTV back when all that shit went down but I don't remember them having near as many commercials as they have now. The only thing bad about their live court coverage is them fucking commercials that they cut to every few minutes. Dean* |

I like those reality Emergency Room and medical case shows.
Years ago they sucked because they'd only show people who eventually made it... these days they keep you guessing! |

1. Is there sufficient evidence to take the case to trial. I think a lot rests on whether or not the judge allows that tape in as evidence in the prelims. Most likely the judge will say that there is sufficient evidence, and Blake will be tried. However, the trial will not occur for several months, which brings the second issue. 2. The judge can set bail for Blake, so that he does not have to wait for a jury decision in a jail cell. That is what I am asking you, do you think the judge will release him on bail? Remember, a man is presumed innocent until proven guilty, even if the entire world witnessed the event. He is probably not a danger to anyone, and if he dies in jail because of poor health and his time in protective custody (so he does not get raped) prior to the trial ending, the state could be subject to legal action by his estate. Yeah, there may have been fewer commercials back then, but they were new, probably did not have a lot of paying customers. I remember back in the day, most of the commercials were in-house advertising. You can give that up if it means more viewers than the networks, and start making a name for yourself, which they did. Now they are big time, and if someone wants to pay them to break away, they will, and just show it when court is in recess. |
I'm addicted to MaskTV. And so are my members.:Graucho

If you ever listen to the opening statement of both the prosecution and defense, the first thing they will each say to the jusry is, "this is not TV, it is not as exciting, you may start to fall asleep, you may need to go to the bathroom." The real fun is Family Law court rooms |
