Muslims are such a plague in UK that it is even impossible to create a funny song without talking about them.

well I think it's just a reference to mecca, and fuck all to do with how many are here :)

That reference and mecca itself came out from how many camel jockeys are there :)
If mecca and muslims would not be of significance reference would be different.

I've known about muslims and mecca for 20+ years, long before this influx. It's just part of education, like knowing father christmas was invented by coca-cola as a marketing tool, or any other piece of general knowledge anyone has. The reference has fuck all to do with immigration.

Thats partially my point - muslim reference is so normal that its crazy. Like its a regular thing, part of UK culture.

If this had come out in 1980, when there wasn't such a 'normal' occurence of muslims over here, that line would still be there, and everyone would still get the reference :)
