If you have little traffic, you will make cents, it's as simple as that. You could try using the thumb ads of ero-advertising which have a very decent CPC payout, no CPM.

For banners i would suggest using 2 or maybe even 3 different ad networks and test their performance. In the end you could use the 2 best ones to get the the top bidders on these 2 different networks.

Look, this character has potential to be vaguely amusing. Not achmed amusing, but not bad. You just need to try harder. Don't misspell so obviously, and do stuff in the character of the guy you are pretending to be. Obviously he would use ref links to get more than the $10 he boasted about earning.
