I made something just like that when I was 15 with Fireworks. Congratulations to the graphics department for making it seem like they are useful.

This is a great glimpse as to where the company is headed and why Mayer isn't going to save that flaming pile of money losing shit. Over a month of build up and PR over a new logo... and at first glance, it looks the same or worse than the old logo.

The logo sums them all up perfectly.

They probably spent 50K on that - when they could have done a contest on Logo Tournament for 300 dollars and got 20 logos better than that piece of mediocrity.

yeah i agree, it has character. In one of their versions they had the old one that was just a little more streamlined, it looked good an was only a subtle change. they shoulda done that.

The spent a lot more than 50K. They did all that PR and had the "we're going to test a new logo, everyday for 30 days" PR effort.

Uh, the old one is clearly better, has more character, isn't cheesy or out-dated looking, etc. But whatever, it doesn't change my life so I don't really care what they do.
