Are duplicate resources in an XML file normal?

I take a feed of resources from an XML file and put the resources on my site. I see the same instance twice on my site. Is it normal for there to be duplicate resources? Should I try to program around this or contact support for the site?

No it's not normal. BTW, does every feed item has an unique GUID?

It only happens sometimes. Sometimes I look at my site and there will be 2 of the same images. I checked the XML file once and saw where there were 2 duplicate resources.

No, I don't see a GUID in the feed item. Doesn't seem to happen alot, Maybe the sponsor is working on something.

In this case you can use the image URL's as GUID-s :2 cents:
