Judge Judy Makes 1 Million Dollars A Day
She makes 49 million dollars a year, works 52 days a year, shoots 5 shows in a day.
crazy, a Supreme Court of the United States justice makes $213,900 |
Good for her!
|
Yes.
That's the beauty of thinking "outside of the box". (Almost $1 million dollar a day. 52 days, and $49 million.) |

I have a friend in her late 80's who loves Judge Judy. She got me into watching it, and it's one of the few things on TV that I will tune into.
|
jj has been raking it in for a while now.
|
Cool! Good for her. :)

I always have that weird moment of "huh?!?!" when lists of wealthiest entertainers come up and she's on it.

This is why people who work for our government are second best. Why take a job paying $200k when you can make millions?

From Oprah, Rush Limbaugh, Howard Stern etc, if you're interesting enough that huge numbers of people want to listen and watch you you become very rich. |
that show is sindicated world wide.
plus reateaped all over. so they will make the money back easily. plus these days big celebs like her tend to own or part own the production firm who make the shows. but she is also very talanted. i would hate to go up against her if i had done anything wrong. it would be cool if she did a few in the uk. |

we (in the uk) had oprah for ages and it was droped years ago (unless its on satalight). its not just what it does in the usa, its if it makes it outside the usa and they can sell it to other countries. plus unlike a talk show you can reateap it many times as its still interesting. |

the last time i watched judge judy was years ago, most all the ads were attorney commercials for accident victims and other victim related products and services. i guess all those *victims* are home from work watching tele.

so is judge judy overpaid, getting a miniscule % of the ad sales or are government officials like judges way underpaid and we should be paying government employees exorbitant salaries?
fill me in! |

I wonder if she wants some younger cock?

she also has one of the highest rated syndicated shows on TV, for years. Makes me think why people even want to go before her and get humiliated but whatever.
I watched the show the other day briefly and the ad load is incredible. They had 1 minute of Judge Judy and a minute of ads. Then 2 minutes of content and 2 minutes of ads Thing is though, TV stations are starting to refuse licensing shows like that. Scripps just fired Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune from all of their stations and replaced them with their own in-house productions |
If JJ had been a selecao on eden of the east she would have won. We need more like her.
The Sheindlins have no agent, manager or lawyer. “We’ve been taking care of ourselves a long time before this,” she says. |
I love when she tells people "Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining."

There has NEVER been a Supreme taken off the court, Samuel Chase was impeached by the House of Representatives in 1804, but later acquitted at his Senate trial. Chase remained on the bench until his death in 1811. He is the only Supreme Court justice to go through the impeachment process. They would pretty much have to be snorting cocaine off the ass of a nun on national television to even be considered for the possibility of removal. There is no election, no reelection, no campaigning, no outside pressure whatsoever. By the way, if you don't believe me, ask yourself why nearly every Justice stays on the bench until death or near death? How many CEOs work into their 80s and 90s or sit at their desk with an IV in their arm just to stay alive at their job? It's a pretty telling way to see just how good a career it is... They do likely have less money in the bank than Judge Judy, but money doesn't really matter if people pretty much never actually charge you for anything. What's the difference between being a billionaire or only ever having an Invoice due for $0.00 - not much. :2 cents: |
