Do you think penguins are born with a fear of heights?
 

Humans are born with 2 inbuilt fears... The fear of loud noises, and the fear of heights...

Perfectly logical, and help ensure survival of the Human Race...

Birds however, are NOT born afraid of heights... If the were... They would NEVER leave the nest... and NOT survive... Both of the above statements are FACT...

BUT WHAT ABOUT PENGUINS? THEY CANT FLY! :helpme

I think that they wouldn't be scared just from being up high, but rather from being up high and on an unstable platform for instance where they have to balance. They'd be exactly as scared 2 meters up as they would 200 meters.

so whilst the above pic shows penguins on an icy cliff, is not particularly high, i feel its high enough to warrant a no. basically their birds and as you stated birds have no fear of heights. also whilst penguins don't fly through the air they do "fly underwater"

What about Ostriches? They can't fly or swim.
