i was thinking abotu this a while back. it's only going to get worse for egypt, as their tourist industry is decimated due to it being too dangerous to go there, more retailers are going to close shop because there are no tourists buying their wares, etc, less money = more rioting, throwing children off roofs, looting antiquities, etc.

Yep; and just as every country fell under the spell of the Arab Spring, the ones that had anything to lose will lose it all.

This always bothers me. Important pieces of history gone, most likely forever. It's a shame.
