The United States - and all wealthy countries - has a moral obligation to do a lot of things. Long before we look at Syria or the Middle East, we should be worried about Latin America and then Africa. We give billions in aid to Middle Eastern countries and North Korea, decades after Live Aid people in Africa are still staving.

oh shut up "aid" is nothing more than bribe...the local politicians get the "aid" so that US companies get concessions and favors....shut up about the "aid"....hitler does not give aid, alquaida does not give aid, and the US who has dropped more bombs than the whole lot certainly is not in the charity business...

"US Aid" in our country is nothing more than a private pocket liner for the few involved and most of them are US guys :thumbsup ...shit like heavily overpriced roads than lead to nowhere except the politicians mothers cottage house :1orglaugh ...

nothing more than the ol stick and carrot for stuggling nations, probably impoverished by the USA beforehand, with murderous economic sanctions that crippled the economy for decades and decades and then the USA gives "AID"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH its like alquaida sending 200$ to dhokhar tsrnaev after 9/11 and claiming they are giving "Aid"

everything about the USA is just so fake even the AID :1orglaugh

This is exactly my point - we send money to other countries like the sun won't rise in the morning, yet we fail to give aid to whom it's needed. Egypt and Israel don't need aid; Somalia does.

Somalia? Somalia needs the US from not assassinating it's leaders, and needs europe to stop dumping all it's nuclear waste off it's shores

that would go a long way at fixing the Somalia problem

Fuck Somalia . . . they have killed more Marines than Egypt or Israel.

XXXProxy 08-30-2013 03:26 PM

This is what pisses me off is, I see "aid" leaving the U.S. to other countries, yet, we have people starving in our own streets. Why even bother sending a $1 out of the country, because as soon as something happens, we are the most hated out of any country.

Yet, there are thousands of people coming to the U.S. each day from other countries, legally or illegally, and "HUNDREDS of Thousands" wanting the internet freedom we do somewhat have here in the America. I know, because it is U.K. and Easterners all up my network of porn proxies, because internet freedom is non-existent.

Hate is sometimes jealousy. I do agree though, if someone wants to kill each other in another country, hell let them do it. Less we have to worry about.

Naw, these guys and their descendants, like Lew Wasserman have been driving the trolly since Reagan...

Not a hijack... But this explains why Obama looks like Bush Jr now and Clinton/back door sheep and Bush Sr and Reagan...

It is why the world is saying no and Obama is saying yes.

I found out about this book from a retired DOJ lawyer who was ordered by Bush Sr. to back off MCA. He and his partner would not and they were "retired". His partner went 6 feet under investigating claims of government operated meth labs on Indian reservations in the west. So much for Justice and the American way.

http://www.lukeman.com/Titles/supermob.htm

"With Supermob, veteran muckraker Gus Russo emerges as a primal and primary 21st Century investigative historian of 20th Century corruption.
Tracking the so-called Jewish Mob that evolved out of Chicago's Eastern European immigrant class during and immediately following Prohibition,
Russo's painstaking research and first-rate sleuthing connects the dots all the way to the White House. Anyone who has ever wondered how or why the ship
of state seems to founder so frequently in murky, mobbed-up waters will have their eyes opened wide. Supermob is super, and required reading for any
student of the fine art of influence peddling."
- Dennis McDougal, author of The Last Mogul: Lew Wasserman, MCA, and the Hidden History of Hollywood

"Gus Russo, through some remarkable investigative journalism, has uncovered a dark side American history - especially in California: from the 1940s to the 1980s, an almost untouchable group of exceedingly influential men wielded their enormous business and political power, sometimes criminally, to achieve their ends. The villainy explored in Supermob has always been suggested, but to my knowledge never nailed down and written about in a riveting book. Highly recommended."
- Vincent Bugliosi, former Los Angeles County lead prosecutor, and author of Helter Skelter

?Veteran investigative author and organized crime expert Russo's magnum opus is a compelling look at one of the last century's major power players. Russo's extensive research is amply evident, and he has made use of recently disclosed records to paint a fuller picture than predecessors such as Seymour Hersh and Brian Ross were able to...a worthy addition to the genre.?
--Publisher?s Weekly

"Supermob confirms what we in law enforcement have long known, but were prevented from pursuing: the longstanding relationship between the mob and 'legitimate' politicians and corporate leaders. This is a must-read for the average citizen who wants to know how organized crime has really impacted their lives. Gus Russo has written perhaps the the most long-overdue book on crime in American society. "
- Robert Fuesel, former Special Agent IRS Organized Crime Division, and former Executive Director of the Chicago Crime Commission.

Syria always has our back whenever there are human rights abuses in America, it would be downright rude to leave them hanging.

LOL - there's nothing in that book that suggests this Supermob had any influence or any interest whatsoever in foreign policy. That the Mob had connections to politics, unions, Hollywood, Vegas is hardly news to anybody. Wow, Marilyn Monroe, the Teamsters, Frank Sinatra, campaign contributions from gangsters - totally mind blowing revelations, if you've been in a coma for 50 years.

Chicago Wasserman mafia ran the show in the Reagan years. Beloved Ronnie was already in grips of alzheimers while in office. except according to you he was a foreign policy genius.

Dude, the book is a starting point for those who can read. If you cannot connect the dots no one can help you. :upsidedow:upsidedow:upsidedow

You should have bothered to read the quotes about the book. Then you wouldn't make such foolish comments.

Moral obligation -- LMAO

There is no nation of any consequence with license of nationalistic "moral responsibility".

It is in everyone's interest that the use chemical weapons is not allowed.

No one wants to be a cockroach waiting to be exterminated.

On that basis there is a joint pan-national responsibility.

seeandsee 08-31-2013 05:39 AM

Fake chemical attack is not a obligation for Obama, sweet bro
