In addition to $657,000 for medical and funeral expenses, William is also seeking an unspecified amount on behalf of his wife for her pain and suffering as well as the "loss of consortium."

Saying that I find it laughable that anyone could believe that Wal-Mart is in anyway liable. Surely the women was an imbecile.

How in fucks name could the medical bills exceed 1/2 a million bucks blows my mind.

i say it everytime i leave any grocery store, they don't train employees on how to bag groceries. i took pride when i bagged groceries as a youngster, put on a good show flipping cans really fast into a crispy, newly popped open paper bag and then a deft touch putting the bananas on top!

No doubt the pig who died from the infection was 250 pounds and had diabetes from eating junk food all her life. No doubt her circulation was bad in her toes and of course she waited till it got infected badly before she sought medical treatment.
