Some perspective
 

If the history of the planet were condensed to a 24 hour day the entire history of humans up until now happened in just the last minute of the day - and if you believe in Creation then in fractions of a second before midnight.

Science tells us that humans are nothing more than inconsequential dots in the vastness of an incomprehensible universe - to me, that's a relief - I hated the crushing sense of responsibility that went with thinking I was significant... :upsidedow

...and we'll have been gone for millions of years when the sun consumes the earth, or goes supernova.

I guess we will already find new planet if something else dont wipe us out in 100 million years
