Simple Twitter tool for events
So a friend of mine and are avid twitter users. We each have about 300+ people that we follow. We got tired of not seeing event announcements like trade shows or other local events like group coffee meetings and such.
So we threw together feedcal.com It takes your twitter feed and throws it into a calendar. You can then use this calendar to filter out dates to import to your Google calendar etc etc So give it a try. Sorry if this is the wrong bored for this. I started using it to keep track of announcements for trade shows. |
Nice work man! ...but why does this Tweet show for Tuesday 27th of August? Can you explain more about how it works? What triggers the calendar to track my account and record the dates?

Quote:
It pulled Aug. 27th out of the tweet, It will get sticky if you have say 30 people talking about the same event on the 27th. It's good because you can see your friends talking about it. It's bad because it's still a lot of tweets to sort through depending on how many people you follow. It's sorts and pulls based upon date and keyword mentions. |
It also searches and indexes terms like next Thursday or Thursday after next. So it will look to see the date stamp of the tweet and sort it to the corresponding Thursday

Hey If some of you have been using it. Thank you we just broke over 50 users :)
