It varies depending on the coding involved. $100 - A few thousand.

shake 08-24-2013 06:13 AM

Mostly they do it for the free porn and to help others :2 cents:

Routine coding, expanding my expertise to developing Social Networking, and Web / Mobile Application Development, coded from scratch, certainly raises the price tag.

How much to the big ones earn? If you have to ask, they make more than you.

Here is how you calculate it:

365 x 3.14878678 + potato = your dumb question's answer

jvm 08-24-2013 09:58 AM

Why do you think is a dumb question?
P.D: If I dont have the potatos value I still cant calculate it

J. Falcon 08-24-2013 11:57 AM

Over 45k a day.

purecane 08-24-2013 12:17 PM

Fabian Thylmann's websites have 16 billion visits per month and earn over $100 million per year.

according to www.celebritynetworth.com

Do these companies not need to provide balance sheets every quarter, VAT returns, accounting etc etc.
Surely every large corporation is required by law to do this, I can't believe they are like every small time affiliate, back pocket.

bbobby86 08-24-2013 12:26 PM

wow 20k - 70k per month i heard...

Biggest networks are going 20-50 million USD a month

signupdamnit 08-24-2013 03:32 PM

Surprisingly probably not as much as many think.

Let us say one large network does 100 million video views each day.
Affiliate legal tubes often average $0.50 to $2.00 per 1000 video views.

You could say these tubes do less because it's crappier traffic. You could say they do more because they aren't affiliates and have good terms.

I would guess they do $3 to $5 per 1000 video views at the upper end.

At $5 cpm $500,000 a day or $182 million a year.

It looks like big money but consider how much traffic that is and what it costs them to serve that traffic. Friend Finder Networks for instance did $310 million last year. CCBill did an interview where they stated they process over $1 Billion in transactions a year.

The tubes are HUGE for traffic but for revenue they are fairly small. Which goes hand in hand with what many have been saying for a long time.

With tubes (if you believe this math is close to being accurate) 36.5 BILLION video views are only worth $182 million a year. Imagine what 36.5 BILLION paysite tour page impressions would have been worth in comparison back in 2005 and you just might see something. :)

What the hell. Let's do it! At 1:200 and a average member value of $40 36.5 billion tour impressions would be worth $7.2 BILLION by my math! So that is where the money went! :upsidedow But wait. Let us say only 10% of people would ever have actually made it to a paysite tour as opposed to other free content in 2005. That would be $720 million versus $182 million then still.

And the dude at manwin said they only represent 5% of the adult business. So if that is true, industry pegged at 2 billion.

Numbers are so innacurrate though. Hard to estimate it when they don't report it.
