    Just In Case Anyone Was Wondering - An Update On My Mum..

    She is cancer free!!!

    They said it was damage done by the radio therapy from last time.....

    Now I need something else to worry about...

          Good to hear.

          I had one relative almost die two months ago. 20% chance to live at one point. He made it! He's only 40 years old.

          Then in the last week two ended up in the hospital. One is in her 80s and the other is 13. The 13 yo will be on an IV for six weeks apparently. But at least they think both are cancer free so far. It was in question. The kid has been having problems all his life though. It really sucks.

              She lives in Spain and is having a meal at a mutual friends so she has some Cava and fresh Strawberries as a surprise from me tonight...

                  When I was nursing I did kids hematology for a while as agency - I'm not strong enough - Its one of the few jobs where I can say having real faith is a bonus...

                          You only get one mother and nothing seems the same when she is gone. I'm glad she is ok. Make her feel loved while you can. For your sake most of all.
