To answer that you'd have to know them personally. You could guess things like.. they're weaklings. They had a lot of money and fame and can't be normal so it was an escape. Maybe their whole goal in life was to slam down as much crack as possible. Who knows.

I'm not interested in celebrity or celebrities so to me it's just a regular slice of life. Take a collection of workers at your local shopping mall and a good handful are totally whacked out on drugs or booze too. Why? Who can say.

Those are three old examples. But you could pretty much put up a picture of every artist, actor, and musician from the beginning of time.
And from my own personal experience in my life...you could put up a picture of a very big percentage of the entire world population who enjoy recreational drugs.

Some people just don't have the proper physiology to do drugs. Just like some people are lactose-intolerant, or can't eat peanuts, or can't handle their liquor.

Addiction and depression don't discriminate, and they don't have anything to do with fame and money, either.

Drugs had nothing to do with Lennon and Harrison being dead. On the other hand you could blame religion on Lennons death.

I deliberately posted a pic of Mick, Keith, and Ronnie from NOW. they are 70 years old, in great shape and just finished a tour.

And as you said drugs had zero to do with Lennon or Harrison's death. I was referring to the INCREDIBLE music they produced as The Beatles while doing more drugs in an hour than someone like Lyndsay Lohan has seen in her entire life.

It's amazing to me to read some of these nerdy dorks on here that think they are in this business. They are more like the kids who got beat up at school for their lunch money. :1orglaugh

Pretty dumb question. Some of the pictures are of the celebs without makup. Others have aged, while others are just non-flattering photos.

Blaming drugs is like blaming guns.

Sure, some people die from drugs, but many, many, many do not. The drug life is not for me, and I would never recommend it for anyone, but it's not the end of the world either. Many people can live functional lives with a regular drug habit.

We always want to blame something else for our own mistakes. In the end, it's always OUR mistake.

I haven't touched a drug since November of 2006. I really wish I could be a recreational user of cocaine, but unfortunately I have an addictive personality and enough is never enough for me. So I recognize that flaw in myself and I choose not to do drugs any longer, even though I seriously do enjoy some cocaine.

But I know tons of people that could not touch cocaine for months, and then do it recreationally for a weekend with zero problems, and then not touch it again for months. They have good jobs or businesses and live normal, productive lives. I know way more of these people than I do addicts. You are absolutely right, it is always OUR mistake... :thumbsup
