Anyone ever have issues with ZTOD signups being proccessed?
ZTOD/Thirdmovies had pulled all their promo content months back. So today I decided to signed up for a 1 year membership using one of my affiliate urls to get content for my movie galleries. I used one of my 50% rev share urls.
Upon signing up, my CC was declined by their primary biller (not sure of the billers name) then was forward to their backup biller Segpay. The charge went through properly and I was given access to ZTOD's members site. Now here lies the problem, I never received a signup from this sale. I should have been given 50% commission. My guess is one of two things are happening here. ZTOD affiliates are not receiving sign up revenue coming from their backup biller Segpay or this could be a one time issue. This incident now has me questioning how many other sales I have lost. While awaiting a reply form ZTOD, I'd figure I'd ask if other have experienced the same problem. Thanks. |
If it helps, this guy https://gfy.com/member.php?u=29896 claims he bought the sites.
https://gfy.com/showthread.php?p=19644686#post19644686 He's a big fan of Manwin apparently. Used to have some connection with Twistys. His sig is "I could give two shits wether you read this sig or not. ". Good luck. |

Thanks, much appreciated. I shot him off a email. |
I think a lot of ccbill programs use backup processing as the primary and the data doesn't pass back through to credit the affiliate. At least that is my theory because the programs that do that have the worst ratios.
back to` ZTOD it no longer loads on nifty stats thats not a good sign. |
Still no reply from anyone at ZTOD on this issue. Looks it's time to stop promoting them..

Unless I read this wrong, you did a signup through your own affiliate link so you could download their movies to use on your own site, and you are crying because they are not going to pay you for stealing their movies?
Clearly they are bad people. |

p.s. programs who use sliiing to track all sales don't have the cascade issue of affiliates getting credit... because it doesn't matter what processor makes the sale, it always posts back to similar location to track. Just thought I'd add that. |

Just in case I will explain. He is a revshare affiliate. So all he gets is a 50% split or whatever the arrangement is of his own money. The content thing is questionable but if the sponsor pulled all the clips he needs something assuming he wants to continue being their affiliate. But he only did that because they pulled all the galleries without notice. I don't think he knew it was sold so I wonder if the new owner bothered to send out an email. Probably not. And then he did the test signup and found it doesn't look like he is getting credit for all processors. Anyway I guess affiliates are assholes for expecting to get paid as was the agreement or for expecting some professionalism such as not removing galleries without notice. |
