Two women have tried out the 'miracle' patch - a postage stamp-sized plastic square sewn onto the tongue - in the hopes of losing weight fast.
Marlene Beltran, 20, and Lysander Lanuza, 27, who both admitted to being unable to control their food cravings, put the tongue patch to the test in an ABC News segment.
Despite the pain and discomfort that came with it, the women were pleased with the results, with Lysander losing an incredible 23lbs and Marlene dropping 18lbs in just 30 days

Why not just put fucking tape over your mouth when you are about to eat and save yourself 2 grand ??

Simply ridiculous! :Oh crap

How about going on a fucking diet and doing some exercise? Bu then again eating disorders are real.

Most people are unaware of how easy it is to lose weight if you put your mind to it and actually get up off the sofa and do some exercise. I was overweight in 2011, it crept up on me fast and when I realized how unfit I was, I was already chubby, first thing I did was get my ass to the gym, didn't change my diet much, just worked out 5x a week, in 2 months I lost 18lbs, 2 months later I was down another 12 lbs, at that point I still hadn't really altered the diet too much, cut out some beers and pop but still ate the same almost, maybe a bit less.

Once I got down 30lbs tho I stagnated for about 5 months just due to my body being used to cardio, I switched it up and went to lifting weights and eating more healthy and in 6 months lost another 22lbs but completely changed my body. I'm not saying I have all the answers but there is no excuse to use radical treatments like this, getting in shape is as simple as getting off the couch and onto the treadmill.

When I started affiliate marketing I was around 250 (Not really obese, though, lineman in high school) and am 175ish now just from switching to diet pop and going to the park every day during "breaks".

Losing weight is easy, but changing your lifestyle and eating habits for good is not quite as simple. This like so many other things, is just a temporary solution.

I lost 30 + pounds in 9 weeks with this diet: http://carbnite.com/

I had been doing exercise for a long time, without much results. It wasn't until I did the diet and exercised that I lost weight and fast.

This was only 6 months ago.

That's what I thought too. I quit smoking and quickly gained twenty pounds in the next year. The year after that I gained even more.

I run every day, two miles. I ride every day, six miles. I go to the gym three times a week and have for five years. I've tried every diet in the book and... The end result is I cannot get below 230 lbs.

It's not that I am lazy.

Rochard- some people, actually a lot of people, easily get into cortisol production with almost any amount of cardio. Go read marksdailyapple.com
Try a paleo diet and HIIT instead of cardio.

Smoking curbed your appetite that much? If so, wouldn't that mean smokers are starving their body of needed calories?

Email me if you want the ebook about this, I bought it and a few of us in the PR and TF office tried it out, the results were crazy. PR_Glen loves this diet, he is already a pretty strong guy but when he did the carb back loading, all his lifts went thru the roof.

alex.missyouth 08-14-2013 06:56 AM

Thanks. I have the ebook and yes the results are fast. I'm so happy I found it.

Yeah it's great, I only started doing it in June for about 10 days and then ruptured my achilles tendon, so I haven't really saw results but the other people in our office doing it absolutely love it.

I've done it twice in the last 6 - 7 months.

The first time, for 9 weeks, and I lost 16 kilos (roughly 30 lbs).

The second time, for only 15 days, and dropped 5 kilos. It works and it's not so hard. Do it while doing exercise and the results are even quicker.

Anyone here interested in losing weight, let me know I will email you the ebook.

John-ACWM 08-14-2013 07:54 AM

Stupid. No ambition at all.

MrBunny 08-14-2013 08:03 AM

I'm guessing the weight loss was because they couldn't eat with that stuff on their tongue?
Things like this makes you just look stupid...

That's the idea. The pain when they try to eat anything is too much, so they basically just starve themselves of any proper food for a month or two.

It's one of the most idiotic things i've come across for a while. Then again, there are a lot of idiots out there...

It sounds very unhealthy to say the least.
