Ford KA and the Mazda 2
do you guys remember the ford ka? the ford ka was a vehicle i remember being produced around 1999/2002 and was certainly available in australasia. this current mazda 2 shape is going to change in 2014 or 2015, so a good thing is coming to an end. when i first took it out for a drive i felt so at ease with the car and i felt like when i was sitting inside it, it was if i knew the car for years on end before.
i don't know, it would be a nice thing to have, a car like that... i mean it isn't hybrid or full electric it still runs on petrol but the emission rating is very highly approved by government authority in this country. the mazda 2 only came out in 2011 in the united states, i was very surprised about learning that i thought the americans would have had the car much earlier. i think it is a bit of a shame really mazda didn't continue the large scratch pad bumpers on the mazda 2 from the ford ka. if the bumper of cheap durable plastic black material on the ford ka got damaged, it would be easily removed and a new one replaced. the ford ka was even smaller than the mazda 2 however it was a popular vehicle. |
The ford ka is a car for girls/hairdressers here. The mazda 2 will probably have the same demographic. I don't know anyone with a penis who would voluntarily drive something like that.

Ford KA is small car and very badly done based on reviews...

How far the mighty have fallen.
|
haven't heard of either
|
Current Ka is basically a Fiat 500.

look i found this on wikipedia about the ford ka, look up the article, it is actually still in production in latin america or eastern europe with a fiat cooperative, how wonderful. no its for me and another person and she is female, but why someone needs to drive the biggest car is beyond me and for the record i can drive one if i want to, v6 holden commodore, plus still handle it like a pro. |

@ OP - you are not Australian, not a chance in hell you are. :2 cents: |
i don't drive many cars but i was still impressed by the mazda 2. i probably wouldn't even get it in the metallic green and go for something a bit more sombre. but then i already have a car, and it is still my first, maybe it is more about space to me i thought the 2 was spacious for a small car and it even has four doors too.
ford ka is no longer imported to new zealand anymore, earlier models of the car looked rather unusual, tubby. i think how they look today in your european and south american countries looks the part and a huge improvement. i haven't driven the fiesta. |
