Looks cool. Too bad it's ubuntu. Will need lots of modification this thing.,, Oh yea.. And who knows whom Canonical will sell the info about what you do on this device as they do for ubuntu desktop... unless you fix it, ofc.
Doesn't look like they will raise the money to meet the goal, too bad.

i use to have an OQO full pc running windows vista and could fit in your pocket. As cool as it was, I still preferred a real laptop. When you're really having a major problem with your site or server a mini pc is just a pain in as ass to navigate and use.
7 days to raise the rest. Never happen. Too bad really.
Whats the point, if its a desktop on the move you would still need monitor.
If you have monitor there why not have another desktop already attached there. if we talk about places where you go rarely (hence no desktop set up there) - laptop/netbook would do the job. I do not see any real convenience in this thing. Just for the sake of novelty? |
Looks nice but expensive too. I would not really back something like this. I mean to high money aim and it's also very uncertain.
So what exactly does "Fastest multi-core CPU" mean?
Seems kind of pointless these days, I can already access files I need on my iPhone or Android through dropbox, I can RDP/VNC to my home machine or servers to work on a real machine as needed. My laptop is always kept up to date with syncing as well if I need to get some work done on the road.
