    Blog updates?

I run 21 blogs in different niches. They are not huge by any means, but i make money from them. Not as much i would have wanted to, but enough to keep me hanging in there.

I update them once a day, and i pay a writer for all the posts.

My question. Maybe a stupid question, i dont know.
Since Google is pretty much the only traffic source in my case, would it make a huge difference on my SERP's if i go from daily updates to lets say two or three updates a week?

If i went from daily to two or three updates a week, that would save me $1000/month.
But on the other hand i dont want my SERP's turn into shit because of that.

I don't think how much you post affects the SERP. If it did my autoblog posting 4,000 images a day would be huge.

What matters is how fast your page loads, how long the user sits on the web page(Bounce rate), duplicate content(My autoblog has a lot of duplicate content because it takes posts from existing RSS feeds.), your backlinks also matter. However how often you post does not.(As far as I know.)

I think bounce rate is the biggest deal. That's why tubes usually out rank any other websites. The user stays on the page for up to 30 minutes at a time watching the video.

Google would prefer daily updates, but you might find it better to instead invest in two websites that update 3 times a week than one that updates 7 days a week.

        Here's a good read about that: http://www.bruceclay.com/blog/2010/0...o-daily-posts/

You could test with one or two blogs at first if you want to try cutting down before doing it to all of your blogs.

all about unique and original content versus copied content or the same sponsor writeups that 100'd of affiliates throw up and then get duplicated. Can be the same video embed for instance, but the description helps keep it different. my thoughts.

Has blogging evolved lately or is it the same old idea, unique content wins?

Unique content doesn't matter as much as you'd think..

Good read but I wonder about the it being outdated with the recent updates to google since it was written in 2010. I would love for to see recent results from a network of sites on it also.

Thats a huge slice of the cake.

                      Take also in consideration:
Be sure your posts wording are relevant to your blogs niche
Don't use the same lingo or use to much the terms you're shooting for
No spelling mistakes and don't spam with to many links the posts......
I want to buy contextual links on quality blogs
